Series Delayed to 4/17. Enjoy these first 2 .
Another fantasy series,(Love em to death).
The series has potential to be really good. The animation is really great. Colors are wonderful. Risk of it turning generic really quick if they don't handle it right, but either way I'm still looking forward to the series when it finally airs

A grand fantasy from the video game Granblue Fantasy, the series will be delayed until mid-April
This is a very well done high fantasy adventure with knights and dragons, and wizards; it is set in a realm of magic and steampunk. Apparently, humanity and the other races (we see elves [Harvin] in the intro to the next episode) live on "islands" floating in the air. The animation is excellent, and the characters are likable, though undeveloped thus far. The music is excellent, also. It is the ...

1st impression ~ not game player
Honestly, I've tried to watch animes that were based on games before but most of the time the plot was way too confusing and you had to know the game in order to understand. This anime seems like a first where I can GET the plot! If that's the case then I'll be really pumped!

Also the fact that the voice actor for the little dragon is Rie Kugimiya, the same voice actor for fairy tail's happy ...

For fans of classic fantasy anime...
...and the video game I guess.

Granblue Fantasy is based of the mobile rpg of the same name, and incidentally the manga adaptation. It follows the classic fantasy-rpg setup of boy meets mystical girl and defends her from the kingdom that's hunting them. The plot is rather generic, but you're not here for the plot.

Let me just say, we haven't seen art and animation like this in years (maybe ...

A really good, new fantasy anime
We really enjoyed the characters and how fantasy-like it does feel from start to finish. The Main characters were enjoyable, especially the "flying lizard" voiced by the tsundere queen. First reaction was "happy"!. Definitely like where it is heading and can't wait to see the rest of the journey in future episodes.

Great Adaptation for fans and non-fans alike
Another video game adaptation into anime for this cycle. It seems we are getting a bunch for the coming year. So I gave this 4/5 because I feel that it has a lot of potential. Albeit if you are reading this I only watched 2 episodes and I played none of the Granblue games. So just know that this 4/5 is a coming from a complete blank slate.

    Pros:
-If you love Fantasy anime then I believe you ...

    Great first two episodes
I just hope it continues, I read that the anime was delayed until April which makes sense as I think that's what the little bit at the end of the second episode was saying. The characters were all very well done, and I thought the animation looked great I have high hopes for some good fighting and battle scenes. I'll wait another year for more episodes just make it good please.

    CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!
Love the story, we need more adventure based anime.
Animation is nostalgic, reminds me of the good old days of high fantasy anime films.
Any anime with dragons is always going to have that cool factor especially if they are utilized as weapons(Allies & Foes alike).
They are really hitting the mark with these video game to anime lately.
    Keep it up Japan.

    Redefining the anime-follows-game tactic
I'll admit I was nervous after seeing what happened with monster hunter and puzzles and dragons to name a couple, but wow, this so far has been incredible. The artwork is phenomenal along with the voice work. The plot isn't anything unique to start with but having played the game I know where it's going and it will come into its own. Which isn't to say that it isn't refreshing, this anime would ...

Good and with potential to be more.
The drawing style isn't of my preference, since I prefer the more thicker lines, but overall the story is looking good. I personally have never played the games but after watching this I'd do so. Interesting characters and ambient, I really hope it doesn't got generic like many anime these days do!
