First thing to make me cry
    Lets keep this short.

    THIS IS A MUST WATCH.
i can proudly say that this anime claims the title of being the first to make me tear up. the ending was amazing. and each episode is a different story on its own (as stated by the title). Being that, the episode still manage to be connected by giving some sort of insight to the main backstory of the series. the story is beautifully put together and ...

a cow says moooooooooo, why the fuck do i need a long title
Imagine hating every character but a spirit and the abandoned girl. This show will make you want to jump into your screen, get into the anime, punch everyone but those 2 and get back.

I am easy pleased, I like nearly all animes, but I won't recommend this one. Unless you want to feel bad and hate. It doesn't even have a that good story line. This is like the bad version of kotoura-san, I ...

  • Crying Your Heart Out with a Twist..
H2O: Footprints in the Sand intrigued me on how well the story board was planned out. I will describe the whole Review into sections so lets begin.

    Characters:
The most of the characters were given a full description of there background and role in the story with the exception of Maki though appears throughout the series, but doesn't have any explanation of who this character ...

  • Beautiful Ugly or Pretty Misery
Very difficult to watch at times. Yet a special take for those that enjoy the bittersweet tragedy genre. The ending hurts this work for me, but H2O has some very good merits. Yes, this is a very vague review.

  • What a truly well put anime!
This anime shows how a girl, a boy, and an entire village overcame the past and moved forward. It will piss you off, make you laugh, and cry. This anime is very well put together. Art is amazing, and I love the story. The last two episodes are one hell of an emotional twist. お疲れさまでした!

    Good Series, Not Great
I enjoyed the series to a point but the last couple of episodes really brought me down. The ending really felt forced and, while it tied up loose ends, was (in my opinion, of course) a rough and unnecessary way to wrap up the plot. With a different ending, I probably would have given it 4 stars. I need to go find something happy to watch now.

  • The Blind Shall See Out of Obscurity, And Out of Darkness
Sometimes touchingly poignant, others vulgar and monstrous, filled with joys that will let your spirit sing with laughter, and even bizarre enough moments to confuse even the most well-versed anime enthusiasts; this series is filled with mystery, intrigue, bittersweet tragedy, romance, love and laughter. All of this awaits those who take interest in the tale of H2O.

    When considering the ...

    A Wonderfully Meaningful 12 Episodes
It's been quite a while since I last watched an anime that struck me so hard on an emotional level. In fact, not since Clannad After Story has an anime taken me for such a roller-coaster ride of happiness and tragedy. The important connection between H2O and Clannad, I think, is that they both make it a point to root their high points and low points in tangible, possible ...

Never Turn Down the first Episode
I was around and active in the anime community when H2O had it's original run in 2008 and I immediately turned away from it because, frankly, the harem scene had been done so many times and throwing a weak, blind, male protagonist into the mix didn't spark me.

Through the years, when selecting different anime, I always ran across H2O but every time put it on the bottom of my selections because ...

    this needs a season 2.
at first i thought it's gonna be a typical anime, a lil bit of ecchi stuff, but as it goes deeper, more mature serious plot is taking place, i love the plot personally, i loved the ending as well.... wished this had a season 2 though
