    Funny, odd, sad, romantic
Solidly in the magic realist camp of storytelling, this short series starts off seeming to be a typical harem anime with a mild twist (blind protagonist). The martyr of the story is the misunderstood and mysteriously troubled girl who becomes the town scapegoat and the primary love interest for the hero, as expected. Also, as expected, he becomes the central interest of several girls almost ...

this is a truly amazing anime that is different from all the others. this anime really stands out to you because there is a melancholy ( sad yet happy ) ending. this will really stand out because most anime's tend to have happy endings. this is an anime that will bring tears to your eyes.

  • Awesome Anime Series
I really enjoyed watching this anime and would recommend it to anyone. The story-line is very well layed out and the characters are easy to understand. The anime becomes quite emotional as we see a young boy struggle with his disability of being unable to see.

The bullying in the school creates a sense of realism which allows us to connect more with the characters. The music fits in well ...

  • Pure beauty its is :)
This anime is very pure and sweet, i would really recommend it to everyone :)

Overall the story about the blind Takuma Hirose, he really wants to see which makes him very strong willed and "able to see"
Everyone in the anime is very nice to him, which makes people think about someone different, not "just the blind boy"
Its different from most school-animes so its worth it to watch!

Dramatic! (Also, this is my first review so please be nice :D )
I have to confess, when I began watching H20 Footprints in the Sand, I was expecting a very shojo/harem-ish plotline, boy finds main girl and is held up by his twenty something other love interests. Drama ensues. Boy/girl confesses. More drama ensues. Boy and girl find a way to be together and that's that. Happily ever after to you too.

    Boy, was I wrong.

For starters, while this anime does ...

    What a deeply touching story
I see, the theme of this story appeared at the end of story as Hinata said. Eyes of Hirose were the one of his mind which opened when he accepted everything. Actually I didn't want Hayami die that way, but it made Hirose open his eyes. All stories from episode 1 to 11 were like dream given by real Hinata and it became clear when Hirose closed his eyes and his mind retreated to the stage his ...

  • One of the best and most genius anime I seen in a while!
I won't put any spoilers but this anime had a lot of twists and a very good story line, I really enjoyed it and feel that the author is a genius! I really hope to watch more anime from this author. I hope that you (whoever watches it next) enjoys this as much as I did. Yes, there is a bit of "ecchi" fanservice but it's not throughout the whole anime, so it wasn't displeasing at all for anyone to ...

Live for the future never look back
When I watched the first episode of this series I thought it was going to be lame. After getting a few episodes in I got hooked in the story. What I didn't understand is why was there like 3 or 4 major families in this small village in an urban area like that. Also how did the Hitose family have so much power... I did not fully understand the complexity of his family. Overall this was an amazing ...

    Stunning, Brilliant.
This anime is by far the best love story I've ever seen. First anime to make me cry and give me chills. Everything ties in at the end, and it makes you so upset. The ending is the best part. I wish I could find other's like this. It's definitely one of a kind.
