If nothing else, I can vouch for the art
An exciting beginning, and beautiful art. Abe Miyuki is a truly talented mangaka, whose style is elaborate, slightly old fashion, and breathtaking, traits that I feared would be lost in this anime adaption, but seem to have been kept nicely. 5 years ago, Shino (main character), saved himself and Sosuke (blue-haired guy) from death, so they wouldn't leave Hameji (not pictured) alone, by allowing ...

  • Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East review ish
I love Shino so much. This show is pretty good and I love watching it. I love the animation and the coloring. To me this show caring and sometimes dumb moments but I love it even though it just filled mostly guys in it. Plus, I love how the guys are pretty in this >_<

  • Love this anime, makes me excited
Since translations on the manga are too slow, this is the best resort. They need to make season 3 ASAP. I need my BL moments. I need more answers. None of the episodes were boring. It was perfect. I wish the manga was translated faster, and I wish they had english versions of the manga for the US. But the anime will do.

  • Interesting Story - Recommended
Interesting story - at times slow but overall would recommend watching. The characters and relationships between them are mostly developed, at times too developed. Mostly visually pleasing but felt somewhat rushed at the end by trying to jam the final battle which was a slight let-down.

    This deserves another season!
I will say, the story itself was intriguing. The fact that it sort of has an Inuyasha, original 167 episodes; not including Final Act, ending (meaning nothing was accomplished and the characters are sort of at the same place when the anime began) sort of annoys me. At least Inuyasha got Final Act and got everything wrapped up. What do we get here? A ton of unanswered questions and an unresolved ...

  • Intriguing story and wonderful art
It's a great twist on an old myth (I'm a sucker for Japanese folk tales and the like), and the characters are so engaging. There's quite a bit of action, balanced perfectly with deeper storytelling and emotions. The relationships between some of the characters are just beautiful (regardless of whether you see it as friendship or as light shounen-ai). I really wish the manga would be released ...

  • Brilliant and gripping story
I was originally hesitant to watch this anime however when I finally gave it a shot I was hooked from episode one. The music was phenomenal mixing orchestra with rock making some scenes really intense. The dialogue was funny, dramatic and heart warming making all of the characters very likable. And finally the story was extremely interesting and well written keeping me interested through the ...

  • Interesting and well put together
Great story line, awesome characters. Each character holds their own, most have pets that talk and all that sort of stuff. I really enjoyed it so far I'm only on episode 20 out of 26 so I don't know the ending. I hope it doesn't disappoint. Watched in one day couldn't seem to get away from it. oh and some pretty good action scenes.

The best I've watched in years!
When I first stumbled upon this anime I was expecting just a anime filled with a boring plot. On the other hand what I really found was a package that was amazing. I loved all the characters and the plot of the anime in all. (especially the shounen-ai moments (=w=)b ) I love animes like this where they focus on a strong bond between two friends instead making it sickingly sweet with strong emotion ...

    ITS AMAZINGLY AWESOME
When i saw the 1st episode I thought "How the HECK did Happy turn into a crow?WHATTTT?" It turned out, the same voice actor that voices Natsu from Fairy Tail also voices Shino! I was quite happy after that, seeing that I'm a Fairy Tail fan....
But the next big thing was.........HE HAS A EYE ON HIS HAND....ALMOST LIKE 07-GHOST!!! And of course, I'm a 07-Ghost fan as well....

    This anime seems a ...
