Hanamaru Kindergarten

The characters of the show are lovable and fun. The children are absolutely adorable and the animation style is beautiful. I love how the main child Anzu's hair has both her mother's color and style and her father's color and style to it. It has a fantastic story line that features a young girl who falls in love with her teacher just like her mom, and a teacher who is in love with a co-worker who is completely oblivious to this fact. If you like shows like Mitsudomoe but are ok with less adult jokes then you'll love this show. It's lighthearted comedy that is fun for younger people and also a few more grown up areas that will hold the attention of an adult. Besides that this show is fantastic and I'd advise all to watch for themselves and see what they think.

Hanamaru Kindergarten is possibly one of the cutest anime i have watched in a long time or could possibly take the title of most cute anime. I could go on and on about how cute this anime is but I should leave that to the viewers. The cast of this anime is extremely funny. I think of stories all the time as I try my hardest to become an author but, I have never thought of one such as this. The thing about this story is that it happens to all of us at one point in time. And this particular point just happens to be during kindergarten. There is always the child who is in love with the teacher. This story takes it to a whole new level. The little love struck kindergarten student Anzu just so happens to meet her teacher on the side of the street and immediately take more affection then anything I have ever seen in my life. The teacher Tsuchida (Tsuchi for short) always turns her love down while trying to earn the love of Miss Yamamoto. She is teaching in the Peach class while he is teaching all the energetic children of the Sakura class. Take the most dense girl in the world and add a skittish perverted otaku kindergarten teacher, add about 20-30 4-5-6 year olds, and some teachers. Add a lively sister and mom and street cleaning mafia dad and you have a funny story that can be told over and over again. You also can't forget Anzu's friends Hii and Koume. The personalities of these characters will draw anyone in when they watch this. The over the top cuteness of it all will make you laugh and cry as this wonderful 12 episode love triangle takes place. I would recommend this to my friends if they hadn't of been the one to recommend this to be first. This was a short lived but I hope good review. I'll be honest this anime may not appeal to all the viewers, but I personally thought this series is very bright and funny anime. Now even though this series revolves around a kindergardener and the teachers there enough very colorful and funny characters to keep us entertained. Also the story about how a very cheerful kindergarden girl falling love to the new male teacher is funny, simple, and cute. So over all this series can get people hooked if given a chance. The only draw back is that the series is short.

This show involves a guy (Tsuchida) who has just become a kindergarten teacher. On his first day, one of his students (Anzu) thinks that he is hitting on her because he calls her "little miss". She tries to win him over (despite being 5) while he (Tsuchida) tries to win over one of the other female teachers (Yamamoto). The story is basically a way to deliver so much cute to you without actually needing to get serious.

Music: 5/5
One opening (It's awesome) and one ending for EACH episode (All of them good, some of them better than others). The opening and ending music is great, and the background music is pretty much instrumental versions of the endings (as far as I can tell). The music has no real problems (some people may find a couple songs a little grating with the kid's voice actors singing them all *in character*, but when it's background music it omits the lyrics).

Characters: 5/5
Even though this show focuses on 5 year olds it still manages to give them great characters (even though most of them end up having some VERY mature traits). Anzu and her mom are mostly the same character (romantic and eccentric), but Anzu is a younger and more innocent version of her mom. Tsuchida is a gamer without any real goals in life (the manga says his life goal is to make a game in RPG maker) but he still manages to be somewhat interesting. Hiiragi is, as Tsuchida says "a walking encyclopedia". She knows things most adults probably don't know. There are many other characters that may be somewhat shallow (in the first 3 seconds you see Tsuchida's sister you already know shes a Tsundere).

Don't watch it looking for an intricate story, because the story only does what it needs to do: give reasons for crazy things to happen (usually cute and funny). If you are came to the reviews, you are probably already thinking of watching it, so in that case, sure watch it. If you feel like you need a super-dose of cute, this is it.

I love this show and wish they would make more of it because its not to hard to fall in love with. I only hope they will make more maye based on the earthquake in japan please make more episodes of cuteness!!!!!!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Having only the children chibi made them that much more cute and precocious. While the anime itself is not new or ground breaking in any way. It was still able to present some very interesting characters, and tell some very heartwarming little stories in a fun way. I am definitely going to add the DVD's to my collection.

I started watching and the first thing that came to mind is...OMG CUTE! This is an adorable series along with some good humor...however the story...i wish it could have gone a little further. It left me wondering what happens after the show ends. Very funny, very adorable.

I thought this was a new cute anime. I've seen things like Chi's New Home...and other cute (and not cute) animes, but this one really hit the target with me Only wish it was longer.

This was one of those animes- for me- that I loved so much, I'm blind to any faults- well except for the length.

I totally loved this anime. I particularity like the different endings for each episode. I music was great also. I hope that there is a season 2 but will enjoy watching this over and over again. This is one to which I will need to add to my reviewing list.
