Hanasaku Iroha - Work, Friendship, Love
Hanasaku Iroha is anime that focusing mainly on one girl who moved away from the city to the suburbs, start working on her grandmother in and move away from the person that she loves.

She eventually learn how hard and fun it is to start working at an inn, and make friends with everyone there. And she realizes that she also needed some love from the person she loves the most, her mother and her ...

    Beautiful series, gorgeous animation.
After finishing the series, Hanasaku Iroha definitely made it up into my top favorite anime. The series ties the storyline, character relationships, and scenery into a wonderfully packaged slice of life series. The characters each have their own unique personalities and behaviours, and their interactions leave you wanting more. Super lovely series. Definitely recommended to all anime lovers, ...

    Wonderful. I'd love more.
It's been 2 months or more since Hanasaku Iroha finished and I still miss it. It's such a beautiful series. The animation is perfectly suited for the characters and the atmosphere of a country onsen. The voice acting was superb. What makes Hanasaku special is the writing. Everything came together to make Hanasaku Iroha addictively entertaining and heartwarming.

    Makes me smile lots!
A wonderful slice-of-life series that almost flew under my radar; Hanasaku Iroha is without a doubt the most smile-inducing show I've ever seen.

    Story:
The plot centers on the life of Ohana, an extremely bubbly and hardworking 16 year-old girl, who, due to familial issues, is sent to stay with her Grandmother, the "Madame Manager" of a hot spring inn called the Kissuisso. Events ...

The best in its genre that I have seen in a LONG time.
I started watching this anime on a whim thinking it was going to be like every other slice of life. but I was wrong. very wrong. this anime is simply superb.

    OVERALL:
blown away. I can be picky. so if I like something, you can guarantee it's good.

    STORYLINE:
girl (Ohana) with an unreliable mom is sent packing to her grandma's inn where she is forced to work and eventually becomes part of ...

    Fest it Up! Hanasaku Iroha
How would you feel if your mother suddenly wanted to have a night-rendezvous with her boyfriend, then kicked you out to your grandma's house right after you were confessed to and you were too muddled up to say anything?
Matsumae Ohana, the main character of the story, goes through that.
She goes to the Kissuiso Inn, the place where her grandma, Sui Shijima owns.
There she makes new friends and ...

Visually Captivating with an Entertaining Storyline
Recently I have been watching anime more thanks to Crunchyroll. I used to watch in elementary and jr high but once high school started I had no time on my hands, now fresh in college having my first year over I have had more time and I can say I may be 19 years old but I'm still a girl who loves to spazz over a good anime I can find.

Hanasaku Iroha is a lovely story about a girl named Ohana ...

Beautiful anime, im sure of it
This anime is not the usual love triangle story, about the main protagonist, otoha who used to live in tokyo and now had to move to a new home.. however its not what she actually expected.
She has to work and work, and gets befriended with all the employees of the inn where she's staying. Otoha experiences alot new things, what some things are worth do do and such..
Its a clear story, however ...

  • Sweet, fun and funny
Without a doubt, my favourite line from this series is "Drop your cocks and grab your socks" courtesy of the head waitress, Tomoe of Kissuisō.
This show was a bit hard to swallow at first, mostly no doubt due to my western sensibilities. But it quickly grows on you. The animation is lovely, the characters are interesting, and the plot is solid. the development of our heroine is tempered by a ...

  • Cute and true to the slice of life genre.
So I started watching this quite a while ago and just got done watching it. It takes a while to get into because it's kinda slow paced to me, hence the 3 stars. That doesn't mean it's not good, of course, it was good. They stayed true to their title of slice of life so it's worth giving a shot if you like that kinda thing.
