I want to fest it up! I want to shine!
This anime is unique then any anime I have seen before, it was very refreshing. This -anime had funny moments that made my side hurt and many tear-jerker moments as well. This is one of those anime that you can watch over and over again. I can't wait for season 2!

    My feelers bro, my feelers!
This anime touches you weather your a boy or a girl, it dose something that allot of animes struggle with in slice of life CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. It dose not just make characters that are realistic, it makes them relate-able, you can't go one episode without feeling some sort of emotion for the characters, weather its happiness sadness, or frustration you constantly feel for this anime. Not only ...

  • Breathtaking, Simply Stunning!
The animation is so well refined, I found myself stopping mid-scene to note details that I just didn't want to miss! The plot and script are both elegant and engaging! Flowering prose dance amidst a stream of vibrant youthful emotion, as the characters sweep you away from Tokyo to somewhere quaint amongst the countryside that seems caught between the old and modern world. This is one I am highly ...

  • A Great Piece for a perspective on how Inns work
A part of me really wants to give this a full five stars, but there were a few things that made me almost put down and let it collect dust.

The first couple of episodes are rough, and make it hard to get into. Ohana in the first few episodes really feels like the snob, but over all interesting character. I originally thought the series was going to develop into her becoming a novelist by the ...

    Beautiful Anime, Purely Amazing
SanaSaku Iroha is one of those animes where you watch it all the way through, and don't admire the love, drama, or action, but instead gorge yourself in the amazing artwork and character development. This unique storyline is beautifully written, and you'll fall in love with the setting and characters that reside in the inn. There are happy times and sad times, but the whole way through you're ...

  • my Review of Hanasaku Iroha
one of my all-time favorite slice of real life anime ever. i was on my guard that it would not fulfill my expectations in the beginning but as i watched the storyline and all the little side dramas come together. i realized this happy and light anime is inviting me in to watch it over and over again and i will.

  • One of the greater slice-of-life shows out there.
I'm going to make this very brief. This show is incredible. For a slice-of-life series, it has kept me 100% completely interested from beginning until the very last second of Episode 26. I haven't enjoyed a SoL anime series since Haruhi Suzumiya, even that show has supernatural aspects to it, which this doesn't. Lots of comedy, good-natured personalities, good lessons to be learned and the ...

    More shows like this please!
This is one of those roller coaster of emotion type stories. I loved the characters, not one throwaway. The plot is simple, which means this is more of a relationship based show. I cried a lot...a lot, but because the writing is beautiful, not depressing (well, maybe a little depressing at times). Time well spent, I'd say.
