This is unlike what I have ever seen.

Jigoku Shoujo, or Hell Girl, is unlike any anime I have ever seen. The show's soundtrack fits the show very well. The artwork is different but just lovely. There are some heartwrenching stories in here but it proves good points on the realities on life and how some decisions are almost unbearable to make. I couldn't stop watching it, will be watching it again!

Really entertaining !

I watched season one of Hell Girl back when I was 14 in english dubbed. It was addicting to me I kept watching the episodes on Comcast On Demand but sadly they stopped at episode 20 So I watched it online. Now four years later I see that there was a season two AND three! (Thank you Crunchyroll) As was the first season it is still addicting to me. This season answers a lot of questions I had. ...

Well for one it's not in Eng Dub
Animax you Dubbed S2 but not for the U.S?
Wiki -"Animax also later translated and dubbed both the first and second seasons of the series into English for broadcast across its English language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia"???
So the theme song by- NightmaRe
was like a flat balloon dying a slow death (sorry :/)
Also i found a lot of the male ...

Also i found a lot of the male subplot characters were really nasty and creepy!
I think maybe they should have left it at one Season but that is my option.

Tragedy, horror, and death

Speaking of tragedy, I'm really surprised that is not one of the tags for this show. Because it does dish it out time and again throughout it.

Basically the story centers around Ai Enma, aka Hell Girl, and her duties as a ferry to hell.

Though the majority of the show is taken as one episode per situation, as the series progresses towards the end, it drifts off into multiple ...

Speaking of tragedy, I'm really surprised that is not one of the tags for this show. Because it does dish it out time and again throughout it.

Basically the story centers around Ai Enma, aka Hell Girl, and her duties as a ferry to hell.

Though the majority of the show is taken as one episode per situation, as the series progresses towards the end, it drifts off into multiple episodes... leading up to the final few episodes and the crashing finale.

If you've ever watched Vampire Princess Miyu OAVs or TV, you'll find yourself familiar with the dark theme this show covers.

Love, life, jealousy, greed, envy, fear, death... This show visualizes humanity at its worst and human nature's evil/selfish side. Several episodes left me upset at seeing how selfish people are and how some people 'died' for no reason other than things you experience in every day life.

The scariest part of this show, and shown towards the end, is that anyone can be a target. All one has to do is hate you enough to summon Hellgirl and off you go.

The end itself left me a little unfinished but knowing there is a 3rd season to watch, it gives me hope that it will help fill in and find closure to the events at the end of Two Mirrors.

Oh my gosh, Help me!

I am so addicted! I love the little old soul ferrying people to hell for the sake of other people's loathing. I love how matter of fact she speaks about her deals with her. Each episode is one story all its own. You want to see her as a child, but you really can't.

Beautiful, Enchanting and Everything It Should Be.

The story is done incredably well. The art work, music and animation is perfect. Hell Girl Two Mirrors is incredably sad and well done. This should be a must see for anyone for anyone who saw the first season. The deeper look into Ai Enma is exactly what I was hoping for and got.

Overview
Hell Girl: Two Mirrors has some of the most soul crushing, despair inducing stories I've ever watched. The format reminds me a bit of a series like the Twilight Zone in that each episode has a fresh story with new characters. With only Hell Girl and her companions returning as side characters in each episode. Also while this is second season knowledge of the events of the first season is unnecessary. I would highly recommend this series if you enjoy drama or just want to try something different. The stories are solid and I think you'll find yourself sympathizing with the lead character in each story.

Premise
If you have a grudge against someone, I mean really bare a deep and meaningful grudge against, you can gain access to The Hell Correspondence website. The website simply requests the name of the person who has wronged you. After entering the name you are given the opportunity to enter into a contract with Hell Girl where by your target is taken to immediately to Hell. Usually some sort of Poetic Justice is dished out on the way. The cost of this service is your own soul when you die.

Episode Format
Each episode presents a new character who has been completely cornered. Everything that could go wrong in the characters circumstances has gone wrong. And there is generally one malicious person behind it for them. Finding themselves unable to resolve the issue on their own they contact Hell Girl. At which point their lives typically are shown to improve.

Closing Thoughts
This season is not without its flaws as the final story bends and breaks the rules of the series in order to create a ludicrous story about the Hell Correspondence being abused.
