  • Re Borh seasons: Takes too long to get good
Season 1 was slow and draggy. The animation is beautiful and the storyline is good. In the creators need to make 2 seasons they dragged out episodes needlessly. HnK didn't need 2 seasons. The entire story could have been done in 1 season of about 15 episodes. With that said season 2 is head and shoulders above the first. Season 2 has more action and tells more story. I understand they ...

  • Metro or Bi Demons & Gods
If you are bored or confused about your gender then this series is for you - because nothing will change since the storyline rambles around the relationships.
The series started out as feminine anime then switched when the director had to chose (or lose audience) between gay/metro sexuals demons and ancient fighting spirits - demons and gods are not gay they are bi or neutral - therefore you ...

    One of my top fives!
One of the few reverse Harem series. So I LOVE it! If you are a fan of "Kamisama Kiss", "Ouran High Host Club" or "Fruits Basket" you will LOVE "Hiiro no Kakera" too! It is more dramatic than the others listed, but some times I like to take a break from the comedy. =^_^=

    緋色の欠片。 Just Simply Amazing.
This anime。 I think it is a really good one and has gotten a lot better as it continued. At first i was iffy about it but as I kept going on with the series I found myself unable to wait for the next episode to become available. I recommend it

    Nothing new or unique...
There is nothing new or unique in this anime that hasn't been used before. I thought that maybe it was just the way too slow pace they set for the show but no... it really doesn't get any better it's completely boring.

Great works, Good storyline, Could be better paced
I think I read a lot of reviews like what I'm about to write. I just want to agree and voice my opinion.

After the first episode, I thought this was going to be an interesting series. Action started right off the bat, hot guy was introduced and story was formed. But, as I continued to watch, the story started to drag. I wanted to so much like everything about this show. The animation was ...

    Forgiveable flaws!!!
In spite of the poor pacing of this series, the characters are endearing, the setting is lush, and the plot, while not entirely unique, is a strong one. This anime is mainly aimed at fans of the game - which has not been released in the English language.

I don't know what people are expecting from an otome game heroine when they criticize Tamaki's "uselessness" - this isn't a shounen series, ...

Don't let the art and story line fool you!
I AM WARNING YOU! This anime is completely useless in my opinion. The story drags and lags. The art tricked me into watching it but after 8 episodes I was yawning and literally forcing myself to watch it. It's a waste of time watching it. I am not a patient person and expect something to prolong but noooo it lags like there's no tomorrow. I don't understand why they even bother making a second ...

  • Careless Characters And Super Slow Plot
Hiiro no Kakera had a wealth of potential, an interesting plot idea and some of the most well made characters, namely Mahiro, but a story can't lean on it's potential alone. The plot moves at an extremely slow pace, and after a while, none of the characters; protagonist or antagonist, seem motivated, and if the characters in the story don't care for the plotline, why would the audience? Unless the ...
