I'm saying this as a fan of some of the cheesiest shoujo out there. I watch them all, Angelique, La Cordo D'Oro, Hanasakeru Seishonen, you name it. Even that dumb one with the train lines turning into bishies. They were all entertaining in some way, if only for the pretty boys who were given characters if cliched ones.

This series gave me nothing but frustration. Usually cliched characters deliver *something*, but the guys didn't even play their romantic parts. They were just sullen and ornery, except when they'd occasionally bat their eyes. We didn't learn anything about their characters. Normally each harem guy has a back story? They skipped all that. That made these guys nothing but colors splashed on a screen.
And the heroine... All she does is cry and feel worthless. And even when she does get her power, in the last few minutes of the last episode, it's a letdown. It's a really lame power, kind of like "her glow makes nearby cars clean". Yes, it is that lame.
And nothing is resolved at the end. There's no big cathartic fight to relieve all your frustration at the previous episodes' countless defeats of the heroes. No, the villains are just "Oooh. Nice weapon. OK bye!"
Seriously, don't watch it. And if that doesn't convince you, look at the reviews at the end of episode 13. I'm not alone in this. Go watch Angelique again. It's way better.
