    Good artwork, Poor scripting
The artwork on this show is superb. Unfortunately, it seems like they got some really good artists together, and then flipped a coin to see who would write the story (FYI, looking at the script writer's credits on ANN, this might not be far from the truth.)

During the first season, I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt for a very long time. "Character development" I kept telling ...

  • I liked it very much
Really handsome guys, the plot could move a little faster, because sometimes it gets boring, I only hope they don't get the same kind of ending like in season 1, because i was expecting more, at least something between Tamaki and Takuma, but good, I liked it!

    This show is very weak
This show is weak dull and strangely paced. The boys although easy on the eyes are uninteresting and bland. There only defining features are hair and eye color, and they each have a hobby. They could easily only be two characters and not loose any complications, you'd have the quiet and supportive one, and then the aggressive/moody and supportive one. The girl is uninteresting but at least she ...

this is what you call a "train wreck"
Hiiro No Kakera has a very common story of "girl meets boys with powers". the story goes from ok to just plain bad in like 12.5 seconds. the main characters (mostly the guys helping protect the shine/ sword) get their ass handed so bad and so much that after a while they just seem to enjoy it. the plot of this story isnt fully explored and is often slow but hey the ass kicking the main characters ...

    Not recommended.....
This anime pisses me off... Most "heroines" (and I use that term loosely), suck, but Tamaki takes the cake - she's totally worse than useless. Bad BAD plot development and horrible story line. Bad character development. Nice art, though. Otherwise, not really worth the time. At all.

And I'm totally bummed because I really wanted to like it!

Cannot wait for Hiiro no Kakera Dai-ni-Sho
The first Otome(romance) anime I've ever been able to sit through and I absolutely adored it!!! Great story, great characters though I'd love to see them devote some time to the character's back stories once the series continues in October 2012. I do hope CRUNCHYROLL will offer it as a choice in their currently simulcast animes!!!! Also rights were sold for a full length animated movie. ...

Whaaaa....Why did it end so soon?
Great story line. I hate when animes have such great stories and ends with such a cliffhanger. Ugh!! She finally realizes her powers as the Tamayori Princess and then the anime ends. Maybe this is what they meant to do. The guardians were HAWT!! Lol. I'm just saying, there was so much that I wanted to know like how this all came about, the background behind each key character and just why ...

In it's current state- not worth it : Hiiro No Kakera
I'm pretty well rounded when it comes to anime, I've watched a bit of most genres that are out there.

I got into the mood for a romance anime.. Something on the level of Kaichou wa maid-sama (http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Kaichou_wa_Maid-sama!), Ouran high school host club
    ( http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Ouran_High_School_Host_Club ), or Otome ...

    Awesome story, great anime!
I was a tad skeptical about this anime when I saw that there was magic involved.
I have never really cared about it ever but, this anime really swept me away!
The way I would rate this is (on an over-all scale(( or 100%): 35% art, 30% action, 10% romance, and 25% other content( conversations, back-story, ect...).

Nice job~ like what they did. similar to pretear?
It was pretty good. Waiting for season 2 now kinda short though. Wished they added more story to it. Not that I'm complaining. It was all good. Can't believe it made me hungry too. LOL. October is almost here, yay.
