I Came to This Series Expecting a Cheap Cash Grab, I Was Wrong!
This series has one episode out by the time of the writing of this review, please understand that such reviews are subject to change.

This show sounds pretty silly and creatively weak, cute girl meets mobster, "haha funny antics ensue." What I saw in this first episode was a story with heart that focuses on fatherhood and being a single parent. This was unexpected and welcome to me. I must ...

It made me laugh, mission success
Often times I see reviews that go really indepth about why an anime is good or bad. The review will have various comparisons, pros/cons, and stand-out points. But I feel the best way to review an anime is to ask yourself "did this accomplish what it was trying to do?" Hinamatsuri is trying to make you laugh, and it succeeds.

The premise is ridiculous, a yakuza soldier is at home when suddenly ...

Where "Aw feels" and "Crazygonuts" meet.
    I wasn't expecting anything. I wasn't prepared.
Not only is this show produced VERY well, but it legitimately caught me off guard and had me burst out laughing before being promptly drawn in by the dynamics between our two title characters. With Japan's population problem becoming more and more of a public issue, using parenthood as a storytelling tool has become far more prevalent.
    However, ...

    Emotional rollercoaster
After episode 6 i knew i had to give this a review. Honestly this anime is all over the place, an episode being on both ends of a feels spectrum at the same time.
Every half episode is really solid and well polished.
    Also Anzu best gril :')

    Story: 9/10
    Art: Real Solid
    Feels: Unexpected

A fun comedy with some feels thrown in
I gave this show a chance on a whim. Went in completely blind with no expectations.

    Damn.

I haven't watched a good slice of life anime in a while, and this really scratched that itch and more. It's got that chill, feelgood vibe, and lots of funny moments as well. If you're looking for an easy to watch show that satisfies, this is definitely one you should consider.

    Altogether, it's a very ...

3 episode rule not required, 1 is enough
Clicked on this show without any information and no expectations, and have been blown away by how good it is. I have been completely entertained every episode to date, which is 5 so far. If the show had a full season available to watch I am sure that I would watched them all in an unhealthy time frame.

give it a try, i doubt you will be disappointed.

This is what a REAL perfect Comedy look like!
While Gintama is high if not overrated (I didn't enjoy as well as most people, cuz there are too many references only Japanese can understand), Hinamatsuri is the kind of comedy everybody can appreciate. I kind of like to give 9 out of 10 points for good shows, even if I can't exactly tell what's missing. But Hinamatsuri is the kind of show that I would feel guilty to take any point off. It makes ...

Funny and Charming - nothing quite like it!
What would happen if a member of the Yakuza encountered a strange girl from out of this world?

I'm not sure what caused me to start watching this show, but so far, I am not regretting it one bit. Not many anime manage to make me laugh, however this one succeeded only a few minutes in. Maybe one of the best shows this season. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good slice of life/feel good ...

One of the best I've ever seen.
This anime is one of the best I've ever seen. I went into it expecting something completely different than it turned out to actually be. It is playful but serious at times and has managed to both make me laugh until it hurt and make me cry. This anime will be forever in my memory as one of the best. I really hope there is a second season on the way because having more of this anime to watch would ...

somewhere between nichijou and lucky star lies this show
I've never watched something that made me spit my drink through my nose one moment, and nearly in tears from the feels in the very next scene. This show is a really ballsy mesh of realist drama and extremely well written, well paced comedy.

I'd advise against drinking anything while watching this. rip my laptop from nose soda
