You can recognize some other characters in this anime from other animes. But you all have to remember that...! I love that Kurapika's eyes glow! Like to have a night light, a red one! Like a party light! In my room! Pretty great effort!

LOL. the opening reminds me of One Piece. the islands, treasures and the map. then lo and behold, I heard Franky's voice.. even the implanted metals in his body reminds me of Franky. woot. btw, Kurapika you're awesome

Yep they have definitely cut out some of the sub-plots or mini scenes if you would that lengthened the episodes. This new series of episodes goes a lot quicker than the old ones. After all the show is aimed at kids (short attention spans).
