    amazing story and characters

    Hunter X Hunter is my all time favorite show. The current arc GI is pretty cool but the next arc coming up is really incredible and it makes me shiver with excitement at the movie quality animation that is being used for the show.

    Quite honestly i did not like this anime the first time i watched. It seemed too childish and overall boring. I believe i tried to watch the 1st episode 5 times to no avail. I just could not bring myself to watch it. I did not undestand what all the hype about this anime was. Once i got over the 1st episode i was hooked.     An anime that was mysterious gone after showing fifty something episode. And now....It finally came back with a remake! I've been waiting a year to make this review because I'm doing HunterXHunter marathon right now. Before you compare this to Naruto or anything, this came out WAAAAAAAY before those anime. Just a heads up! ^.^

    watched the 1999 version and now watching the 2011 version of HunterxHunter! The newer version has less blood and gorey scenes, but i personally think the storyline and the animation are AWESOME! i keep up with the updated episodes every week!!     My opinion on the story and characters is solely based off of this remake. I read a bit of the manga when I was younger but I barely count that since it was so long ago and i only read the first volume. I am up to date on what crunchyroll has released and I have to say this is such a wonderful anime.     I'm currently watching the older version as well, and WOW I'm impressed with this anime. It's funny, cute, and has excellent fighting scenes. It always keeps me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next! This definitely wasn't a waste of my time.     how anyone can rate this anime 1 star is amazingly stupid.
    this is an amazing remake and i love the characters, story, and art.

    it was a bit childish to begin with episode 1-2 and i nearly stopped watching it, but as i got into it more and the adult scenes with blood started to appear and i stuck with it and i LOVE IT!

    Well it seems that i'm the 100th review so here goes! Well i love the characters and their personalities! and also the art but i personally prefer the 1999 ones design better.     At first when i read the description for this anime I was like, "oh, so a boy wants to go out to kill rabbits with arrows or something" Then when i saw Gon jumping after a bubble horse and fighting scary clowns, i found out that THIS ANIME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NORMAL HUNTING!
