this series is the reality part of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. the protagonist didn't take interest in Maiko Tamaki and not only did his world went to hell, any other "worlds" that are parallel to his went to hell.episode 3 explains alot

If this show did not have the superfluous childish characters, I would have like this show much more. It truly does not feel congruent. It was as if the producers glued random elements of other incompatible anime and made this one.
