So many animes have stories like this where villages or groups of people are all cowards swayed by petty gossip and blame whatever easiest, Hell Girl had a lot. So whenever there is someone like Aki, it's a good thing.

@swordtorres: If what Sensei did with Aki was the worse you saw in this, I feel sorry for you. Why I don't agree with what they did, Aki is right about that village. It's two leading tribes are far more corrupt than either Sensei or Aki.

That teacher seriously lacked ethics! I mean, those kinds of situations is pretty much why you don't get involved with your students (even if they are of consenting age) or their parents!

I bet Aki never tortured those animals. It was the other guy who did it and framed Aki so he could be the Seki. It's just too bad Aki didn't get more of them. That village is twisted and inbred. Aki is vindicated in this episode, IMO.
