  • Classy, deep, emotional. and real.
And the freakin' music is totally jammin'! ........

134 more characters? What do they want me to do, give away the plot? Well, I ain't going to do it.. and don't expect me to write any more reviews if this is the hassle I have to deal with.

  • Kids on the Slope is perfect.
I have no complaints, other than that I would have been okay with more episodes, more music, more time to get to know the characters. When the worst thing about a series is that there isn't enough of it, you know that you've found something good.

So the plot and characters are subtly written and carefully developed, this show is all about nuance and it nails it every episode. The music is ...

Wow this anime has it all!!
I am so impressed with this anime. The characters alone are each unique and interesting. Kaoru is the intellectual, Sentaro is the misfit would be thug, and then there is Ritsuko she is a serious often unsure girl who when she makes up her mind she is a force to be reckoned with. There is love, a triangle, heartache, shock, sadness and hope all in one anime.
The music is just the best of ...

  • Simply jazzy, awesome and beautiful
Everything about this anime is awesome and beautiful. This much anticipated anime has lived up to the anticipation. IT's just got that thing that I feel anime has been missing. heart and soul.

If you haven't already realized it, once you get to episode episode 7, and at about the 16:45 mark to the end of the episode, you realize how awesome this anime actually is. I could watch that scene over ...

    Anime's most recent artistic masterpiece.
Kids on the Slope was the best show of Spring 2012, and, with all due respect to Fate/Zero 2nd, it was by far. It is an artistic piece that has all the traits that form a masterpiece: spectacular writing, top-notch animation, excellent production values, inspiring and moving story, top-class voice acting, appealing cast of characters, well balanced character development, powerful satisfying ...

READ the manga after watching the series!
This is my first review so bear with me. I usually just stick to a few annime shows (Bleach, Naruto, Evangelion) and dont really like to "try" new ones, mainly cause ill watch a few epsodes and not like them. The few annime shows I have actually watched through left me with a feeling of time wasted or no feeling at all. Fast foward to this show. Boy am I glad I "tried" this one out! After the ...

Thank you for composing this wonderful piece.
To everyone that participated in the making of this wonderful compilation of truly moving scenes and acts. I laughed, teared, smiled and felt a wide variety of emotions as I was able to witness this powerful piece. I wish more to come. A fan always, Some Guy.

Everyone's teenage years ensconced in one concise anime
With Watanabe Shinichirô at the helm and Kanno Yôko on music, it is already apparent that a true gem is in the works. Indeed the masters behind 坂道のアッポロン「Sakamichi no Apollon」do not disappoint as they craft a tale about friendship, alienation, and acceptance. The latter, I believe, underlies the series central theme. Incidentally, all three of the main characters (Sentaro, Kaoru, and ...

  • THE BEST ANIME EVER!!!!!!
Nothing but pure greatness if you love romance, drama, comedy and music genre's combined into a well put together anime I'd give it 3 thumbs up but I only have 2 hands. Very good music. The jazz added a nice touch and the development and bonds between 2 friends keeps you coming back for more. I don't normally buy anime's but will definitely have to buy this when it comes out.
