Ryuubi guy was the only real male character here but he turned out to be a douchebag... that's a darn shame. That was a good anime but this is not the end. I believe there is season 2 and even a season 3 and they're all in Crunchyroll.

Huh.. Weird.. Kind of figured him to be evil since Chohi suspected him. But I always thought the story went that the "three" (Chohi, Kan'u, and Ryubi) made a promise under the blossoms as brothers (or sisters in this anime) and die together
