  • A different kind of high school drama
What's interesting about this show is how the point of the "phenomena" wasn't to torment them, but to push them forwards. In the end you can make the logical connections about how each of Heartseed's interventions was good for them. Some of the characterizations, especially Inaba and Iori are among the best I've ever seen. Taichi isn't bad either. I like the trend I'm seeing in anime recently ...

  • A High School Drama with a Great Twist
This anime is a mix of high school drama, psychology, and super natural that ultimately pays off. It steps away from the usual high school anime we are used to seeing and makes it a setting for some truly fresh experiences. The first episodes draw you in very well and it is hard to stop watching after. You really get to look into these characters and see what they are made of. None of them feel ...

  • intense and heart warming
The story is a bit odd and seems to keep mixing things up on you. this is good as it keeps things new but at the same time some of the "games" feel rushed. The art style is up to date and works very well with the feel of the show. What really separates this show from most though and the reason for the 5 stars is its amazing character development. There is a ton of growth and by the end there is ...

Character Interaction and Growth At It's Best!
While the story arc of Kokoro Connect is pretty simple, and the animation good but not what I would call great, I found myself jazzed when watching how these five club members not only learn more about one another, but themselves as well. A thought-provoking series of events that leads to growth, change and understanding are brilliantly displayed in this series, and while I found myself noting ...

  • Character development
I agree, the story was basic, but the story itself is not what makes it great. The character growth was deeper and more influential than characters from most animes I've come across. While these characters are finding out who they are as individuals, you will reflect on yourself and where you are on your journey. Definitely worth watching anytime you're feeling stagnant in life.

  • No, I did not cry! Okay, I lied, I did cry.
The story was basic, but that did not matter, because the characters were the story. Heartseed was right, they are an interesting group of people. The start was fine, but the first episode reflects very little on how the story ends, or how it gets there. Also, the opening theme song is really fun.

  • Brilliant, a strong impact and overall a amazing anime
Kokoro Connect for me went into depth with the connection in friendship and the power of it and how they all fought to keep it. This was one of the points which I loved so much, it reminds me of my complicated friendships that took ages to fix but this is a definite watch for those who like this sort of thing.

    Heartseed of Kokoro Connect thoughts?
First things first you must watch all 17 ep before judging its the most amazing anime you will see to date so far putting that aside this guy/thing Heartseed i think he was not evil or bad in his own way he cared for the 5 and help them develop into the people they were in the end it's like he seemed happy when they made the right choices and when the 5 did not here would interfere and nudge them ...

    Spectacular, but Emotionally Exhuasting
I want to start this review with some very important key points:
    - This show is not for the faint of heart: it can be emotionally draining if you easily empathize with characters or immerse yourself in the story, like I do.
    - Crunchy Roll does NOT have all the episodes for this. There are 4 more episodes they released and they can be found on animefreak(dot)tv. These episodes wrap the season up ...

Kokoro Connect Still Needs Some Work (︶︹︺)
I think it's a pretty good anime but I wouldn't say I totally agree on it. I was expecting that Taichi would start dating Inaba or Iori. The ending disappointed especially at the end when Iori said that she wasn't sure that she was truly in love with with Taichi. I'm also disappointed with Yui and Aoki relationship. There is a bunch of holes in this anime that need to be fixed. There is a bunch of ...
