  • What if a normal person could mind-read?
I have to mention how well done the first 10 minutes of this series is. To evoke strong feelings from a viewer that short into the series is amazing.

The tone of the rest of the series is different, but is well-done regardless and has comedy I do genuinely find funny. The ending provides some closure as well which is always good. The last arc near the end I didn't really like, but on the whole ...

  • Sweet Animes are made of This!
From beginning to end this Anime kept me engaged! Like in the opening :
Needless to say. I was hooked from the begging. The character development was good but I also feel that it could use a second season. I would love to see more of this ...

  • this is true anime comedy
Ive been saying for a long time the romantic comedies of anime have just been dull lately. Kotoura-san has to be the funniest anime ive seen in a long time. and the theme song is great. i havent laughed like that in ages.

  • This is what anime should try to be like!
With a ten minute opener that will leave your feels at the doormat, and a surprisingly charming cast, Kotoura-San is one of the best Anime of 2013! Not watching this Anime would be a mistake on your part!

  • Why was this show so over looked!?
Kotoura-San is a great slice-of-life anime! However, most reviews have been just "meh"! The characters are very likable and well developed! It has a very realistic take on what the people are thinking! 95% of the time, any male over the age of 13 is thinking about sex when talking to an attractive female. This is a fact! So, Manebe's character is very believable! Haruka is the most developed, ...

  • Grew On Me At the End
I love this type of anime, but for some reason was only liking this one until half way through. Then, at the end, I realized I loved it. It has a way of growing on you. You see the friendships develop and you are really routing for everyone. It's very cute and sweet (
). I feel it was very cute and ...

  • good show, nuff said
Good exposition of characters, believeable characters, ok artwork, but the story made up for it. So this story is pretty much a realistic view of what happens to a girl who says what someone thinks as if it comes out of their mouth (of course your going to be hated, you know how ppl really feel...and they can't run from themselves or you). ANYWAY, its a story abt this weird girl who wants a ...

    A funny yet serious series
This series really got me interested in anime, it is funny and has a great story line. I love how the underlying story line has value and is very interesting. I am sad that there are not more episodes

    Recycled Jokes and Lackluster Story.
Kotoura-San, the slice of life comedy romance with a seemly dark underlying tone. This is what I thought I was getting watching the first ten minutes, but that's not at all what this turned out to be. Could you imagine a comedy series where someone told the same joke over and over again? Because that's what you get here. Almost every joke has to do with Kotoura-San using her mind reading powers to ...

  • Pleasantly surprised
I watched the anime expecting to be one of those run of the mill school anime but with a bit of twist. But would I got was memorable experience of a girl ostracised as a child, because of her gift ( ability to read the minds of other people), finally make friend and be accepted for who she is, my main criticism with the show however was the last arc (police arc). It just felt out of place and ...
