  • All kinds of adorable
Seriously, if you're looking for a romcom that is funny, adorable, cute, but occasionally serious, this is definitely a good choice. The relationships developed in this show are very unique. The tension in the show is nice as well. My favorite character is the grandpa =)

  • Never written any type of review before, but
I just finished watching the show in one night, and to be honest, I was in desperate search of a new romantic comedy anime to watch, and I figured that I'd give this show a chance. To be honest, I get pretty emotional when watching anime, and I can promise you that this anime definitely does pluck some heart strings, but will make up for it with lots of laughs and smiles. One of my biggest fears ...

  • Season two? more like clanned's after story.
Okay so if you know what clanned is, then you should know that there was an after story. Or season two. I believed that kotoura-san ended perfectly. The romantic issues were all resolved and the mother and daughter are happy again. We saw what really happened within reality instead of the mind of the mother. If you ask me, they should not make a second season. Because the ending was emotional and ...

  • Good Premise For A Story...
Kotoura can read minds which causes untold problems for her as very young girl as she can't seem to prevent herself from saying what's on peoples minds especially if it isn't true she loses her parents and her friends and has to transfer to another school where she meets Manabe our main male character who isn't bothered by her ability and befriends her. Manabe is like any guy his age and has racy ...

  • Betrayed expectations, but in a good way!
When I first heard about Kotoura-san I thought it would be a mindless comedy involving mind-reading. But while that comedy is a big part of the show it's nowhere near the focus of this story as proven by how the show starts off.

The first episode begins with a shockingly dark backstory for the female protagonist and it was downright soul crushing to watch, a far cry from what I originally ...

    The Perfect Blend, No Regrets!!!
Never have I seen an anime that so perfectly blends romance, comedy, ecchi, with masterful sprinkles of drama. I was hesitant at first due to the somewhat odd looking animation on the cover, but that ended up being one of my favorite aspects of the show. The first episode is a shocking splash of sorrow and tragedy that made me feel more in a shorter time for Kotoura than anything else I have ever ...

  • Surprisingly cute and funny
This anime was surprisingly cute and funny, and it needed to be after such a sad beginning. It was a bit repetitive at times in regards to character emotions but regardless it was a lot of fun to watch; especially Kotoura's relationship with Manabe. Towards the end it felt a bit rushed, so I wish they could have had more episodes to spread the story along more smoothly.

  • They should have kissed in the end!!
I loved Kotoura-San it was funny, I gave it a 4 out of 5 because there was no kiss!!! I normally don't laugh at the comedy portions of an anime but that Manabe was a hot mess. I loved all the characters from the ESP group. It's sad what happened with Kotoura's mom but it works itself out. I wish they could have done more and I wish there was a season two. I sooooo wished they would have kissed in ...

    Mish-Mash of Emotional Hash
K-San is a great waste of possibility. The central premise -- that having powers endows the user with social disadvantage and pain is a great concept. It's what makes many superhero plots tick. In J society it means you're shunned, bullied and even abandoned by both parents as you reveal the truths that no one ever tells, wants said, or heard. Or, as in the backstory, you kill yourself, leaving ...
