I didn't think it was that good at first BUT....
I came across this in the manga version first. At first, I thought it wasn't gonna be that great. Then, I saw that it had an anime adaption so I went and try it out. It was a good choice. I was hooked right after watching the 1st episode. Can't wait until Season 2. [It's good enough that I finished both the anime and the manga all in 2 days.] (If you're having doubts that this is not a good ...

Like Tenipuri, only with less characters and basketball
Kurobasu, like Tenipuri is a typical shonen sports anime, with a cast of pretty boys, crazy moves and deep, meaningful friendships between friends (men) - making it perfect for (BL/yaoi) fangirls. In addition, the plot is well written, with funny and serious moments, and it's supported by both good dialogue and excellent animation. Finally, there's some great character development - and it ...

    If you love backetball
This anime was great for me, there are two main reasons. In this series they focused on the games rather than the practices like slam dunk would on occasion. They were fast paced and didn't drag at all. The second is they build this anime off of a premise that I really enjoyed, the main character isn't your typical genius when it comes to basket ball and has a talent not seen in many now and ...

Not as fan of sports based anime but.....
I fricken love this anime. I really want to see if they'll come out with a second half to this and carry on into the other two characters they left out, well other than the brief intro in the last episode. So really hoping they carry on. Other than that I really enjoyed this anime and that's coming from someone that's not a fan of sports based animes or even shows themselves but I REALLY enjoy ...

    I'm A Girl And I Enjoyed This.
I'm not a sporty type of girl. I'm usually a girl that studies and sits with her best friend talking bout some academic. I came across this sport -related anime and I was not disappointed but instead surprised. Kuroko's Basketball never makes me feel bored. It made me feel so agitated and I almost pissed my pants out of anxiousness. I havent watched "Slam Dunk" but I found Kuroko's Basketball ...

Everything You Want... with a little twist
Kuroko no Basuke has everything a typical sports shounen manga/anime should consist of: rivalry, friendship, trials, humor, power-ups, a hint of girls, special moves, a bada$$ boss etc.... The main difference--or in this case, the twist--between Kuroko no Basuke and others is that the protagonist chooses to act like a sidekick. As the summary explains, Kuroko is portrayed not as a light but as a ...

It's not a crazy super power guys, he just has great COURT VISION!
Uh, I'm not a huge fan of how this show tries so hard to glorify certain aspects of the game. Like certain players having HAWK EYE (court vision) or Misdirection passing abilities (God's touch passes, lol); but seeing a basketball anime makes up for it. I think I watch it for two reasons: To see what new skill Kuroko is gonna learn, and to see how ridiculously good the rest of the Generation of ...

Our new favorite ~ love it!
The flowing animation for the basketball games, and the story tied to growth and bonds and change... Kuroko no Basket is my new favorite! My husband was skeptical, but by the end of the second episode he was hooked, too. Now we watch it together for double the fun.
