  • Basketball has found its savior
I think that KBA has some of the best chunks of writing in anime. Personally, even as I became more and more engrossed in the show, I still wasn't a fan of the art. It just looks corny. Yet, as stringy high-schoolers engage in epic contests of unrivaled basketball skill and athleticism there is this palpable energy oozing out; the art never detracts from the powerful moments and dialogue. The ...

  • Keeps you up at night
This is anime is fantastic and a must watch for all anime sports fans. With a captivating plot and amazing characters this is perhaps one of the top sports anime. The matches are intense and no one is safe until the buzzer hits zero. The character development is realistic and trust is one of the key components to this anime.

  • Different approach to basketball anime from Slam Dunk
KB feels much more modern than SD, infused with many elements that are catering to today's tastes. The character setting of Kuroko is a great example -- there is a "kakkou-ii" past but also stories of growth; there is shonen's friendship, passion, and never-give-up spirit, but there is also calm rationality and laid-back low-key-ness.
The basketball techniques portrayed are definitely not ...

  • Amazing and Satisfying
I started and finished this anime in only one week. The entire time I was on the edge of my seat seeking more. I loved the series the entire time. The only thing that could have been better in my opinion, would have been to have a second series, or a add on to it that shows what happens after high school for the "Generation of Miracles" and the others on the Sierin team. Altogether ...

  • A must see Sport Anime!
This was my gateway sport anime and I've got to tell you it's nothing short of amazing. From the emotions, the drama, the action, down to the form and technique this anime will always leave you clicking "next episode". But remember to pace yourself, this anime is so good you'll find yourself binge watching it in a dark secluded room without food or water for weeks. Enjoy each minute of it because ...

  • one of the best basketball anime this decade
This is, quite possibly, one of the best basketball anime this decade. The main character isn't the most athletic and seems so unimportant that most people literally can't even see him. However, he teams up with some skilled players and is able to help them go even further. Without spoiling anything, I highly recommend this show to any anime fan.

  • People-Overthinking-Basketball
Action packed, sometimes very amusing, but overall an intensely moving and exciting sports anime. The relationships/conflicts between the godly Generation of Miracles are fascinating.

Imagine if gods of the cosmos quarreled in the heavens, but one day they all decided to become mortals and fight through basketball. Now all mortal basketball players must put up with them, and survive in their ...

  • Kuroko no Basket Rating/Thoughts
Kuroko is my #1 favorite sports series and I don't see anything topping it. Major for me is better written by miles but the badassery and epicness in Kuroko is too much. I LOVE the Generation of Miracles. Each one of them interests me so much, and they're all badass in their own ways. Aomine and Akashi are my two favorites, and they're also in my top 10 favorite characters of all-time. The powers ...

  • You need to watch this anime.
This is by far one of the best animes that i have ever watched. The character development, the action and the story is great. Not to mention it made me love a sport that i used to hate. Kuroko's basketball is everything good about anime. It shows true conflict, sportsmanship and what of highschool basketball would be like if it were mixed with superpowers. Definitely would recommend this to a ...
