Kuroko's Basketball

Yes im a girl and most girls are looking for the romance i'm glad they had a few parts with it!But i love how the show is FUNNY for sure most people like comedy as do I.I'm glad i started reading the anime i was getting caught in class trying to read it on my phone!With this i super excites for the season 2 coming up.Yes they have already announced it but i hope it comes on here as soon as it does in japan i'm a big an and im glad i gave this show a chance so please take the time to watch this anime show i'm sure you will like it ^_^

Basketball! This sport is my life! Where do I begin... Ok at first I thought this just going to be some lame fundamental wanna be basketball, but this is some really good stuff! The characters and animation where almost 100% on point and the story just didn't die on me. Very entertaining series that had everything besides a romance. They sort of had one, but never really got into it. Heard there making a season 2 and I will not miss it. I would normally give this a 4/5 for no romance, but because its basketball it must have an exception. Totally recommend this!

Just one word: WOW!

Kuroke's Basketball takes the typical sports anime and give it something new. The typical sports anime is about a specific team, who may be slightly above average, but they have immense potential in the form of a single player. They struggle, they practice endlessly to be the best and win whatever championship. Kuroke's Basketball follows that same basic premise, however it adds its own twist! First, we're presented with a unique back story. The previous year, there was a starting team of five extraordinary players that they called the Generation of Miracles. There was also a sixth legendary member, who didn't have their level of skill, but was able to play with the five due to his special passing abilities. Each of the six players joined basketball teams at different schools. This is where things get interesting. Now these six players are in their first year of highschool and for the first time, they must play against one another!

So, the special sixth player is Kuroko, our main character, and he joins the Seirin High School Basketball. At first glance, Kuroko is so ordinary that he's nearly invisible and lacks basic basketball skills (though he is adorable). An up-and-coming player from America, Kagami, joins the team as well and is shocked by Kuroko's lack of skill. However, Kagami (and the rest of the team) discover that Kuroko's lack of presence enables him to achieve incredible passes. Thus, a special bond and team is born. Kuroko and Kagami vow to work together to be the best (including winning against all of the Generation of Miracle members)!

What impressed me about this series, other than the unique storyline, is the character development. Yes, the games themselves are exciting. For someone who doesn't particularly like sports, I was thoroughly excited and engaged with the game play. It was fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat intense and definitely grabbed your attention. However, if the characters, the players in those games had not been so individualized, likeable, and interesting, I would have lost interest. The producers did a great job of not only giving each team its own identity, but also each team's starting five and coaches. No one character was like any other. Each of them had distinct personalities. Some of them were cool, ridiculous, apologetic, strange, and cocky. Others were aggressive, selfish, superstitious, loud, and more. Some liked their team mates; others hated or were annoyed by some or all of their teammates. They fought, they laughed, they bonded. Just like a real team. This is what makes Kuroko's Basketball a special sports anime and one definitely worth watching. I cannot wait until season two to see what else the Seirin team (and the others) have in store for us!

This is the guy part of this page. The girl may not ever write a review but anyways. For any basketball lover this anime is an absolute MUST. The only negative thing that there is to say about this anime is that the manga continues past this. But anyone would definitely enjoy the character development. Without character development, the story would fail and the games would be generic. Through the games you get to see all of the characters abilities to grow, not just the main characters. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind the ending of the series not continuing with the manga.

I am a HUGE sports fan, liking sports such as college football, track and field, soccer and basketball. As such I gave the newest basketball anime Kuroko no Basuke, or Kuroko's Basketball, a shot. At first I was spectacle of the show, for I didn't think it would be realistic enough to be believable, but dramatic and interesting enough to satisfy an anime lover such as myself.
Man was I mistaken! It is incredibly entertaining and adrenaline pumping with its incredibly skilled characters making unbelievably amazing shots, pitted against each other in epic battles on the basketball court. But it also has actual basketball skills, plays, scenarios, and fundamentals thrown into the mix to keep the games grounded towards reality rather than floating aimlessly in the unreal. Even if you aren't in to basketball or sports in general, you should still check out this series if you're a fan of Shounen anime, because this show is simply that good. So, my advice to you is to start believing in THE BASKETBALL WHICH KUROKO PLAYS!!!!!

Kuroko's basketball is a repetitive anime. It is very prodictale, and by the time you get to the last five episodes it gets boring because its repetitive and prodictable. But before that it is still exciting, and wondering whos going to win. This anime has some very funny parts too it too. I did enjoy watching this anime until I got to the later episodes of it. If the new season does come out then I might watch it but if it's just a prodictable as this season was then I might have to skip it. I would give this anime a 5.5 out of 10 or 5.5/10

This anime is wonderful. The graphics team did a wonderful job on the character designs and so on. Beautiful anime - A piece of art. This sports genre anime is probably the best I've ever seen. Compared to other sports anime, Kuroko no Basuke's characters are mobile unlke some other anime. What I mean by mobile is that the characters move around freely and somehow makes it look realistic. I love that about this anime. With season 2 coming out I can hardly wait! Oh, God! The new characters Ohhhhh... I've heard that Season 2 will come out from March - April. Let's all be patient.

I love this one. Although it pains me to see their reactions when they lose to Aomine, I love it! I could watch this over and over! It's GREAT! The characters are cool, and their relationships with each other (and not like loving relationships) are wonderful. I love each of the characters, especially Kuroko, Kagami, and Aomine (though he could use an attitude check ). ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
