La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~ and ~secondo passo~

A good anime to pass by the time! This anime mainly focuses on character development (and music!), in my opinion. It doesn't really focus on the plot, though the plot does play a big part in this anime. We see the protagonist, Hino Kahoko, pull through the hard times and enjoy the happy times. All the characters certainly develop from who they were in the beginning to who they are in the end! The animation in my opinion was fantastic; each character looked different from one another, the background animation was great as well. Gotta say though, the ending (Second Passo) left me in a cliff hanger; which is okay I guess, but I'm not really a fan of cliff hangers. The produces, directors, etc really need to make more episodes! The ending was kind of rushed.. Also, the protagonist, Hino Kahoko, is kinda in.. indecisive love. Just a heads up(: Finally, the music was simply amazing! Very soothing, you won't be disappointed if you like classic, orchestra music(:
All in all, I really did enjoy this anime, if you like anime that mainly focuses on character development and the love and struggle of music, this is an anime for you to watch!

I Enojoyed this anime soo much I only took away because the second part was no part two, Rather just a quck way to end it. there was so much more story I couldn't imagine that yhey could end it just like that and vaugue. But it was still very entertaining.

The story and music in this anime are great. The writer has a good feel for the characters and does a good job regarding their development. However, the story line of ~secondo passo~ seemed to suggest a far different ending than the one we were left with.

La Corda d'Oro is one of my favorite anime shows because it had a great storyline, characters, and music. I have seen a lot of anime and this would be in my top 20! One anime this reminded me of was Uta No Prince Sama which is also a really good anime.

This is a very inspiring anime. I also enjoyed the talent and the music was great too! I would have liked her to continue playing with the top guys, but I like her determination.

The story line is very good and it really sucks you into the drama and leaves you wanting more.

I found this extremely beautiful and refined, full of meaning. The lesson is, all though not many agree with the ending, you cannot just magically learn to play the violin just like that. You must put your time and effort into it, and love it. Many people will have their doubts, even in the real world and real life people have their doubts on their instruments. This is okay, for we are only human. You must love what you're doing; mainly for classical music lovers such as this, this sends a message out to both band lovers and non-band lovers; Never give up, and be yourself, with your own sound.

one of the best anime's ive watched in a long time. even though sometimes the heroine got a little tiny bit on my nerves with her crying for a moment lol but overall i would watch this series again.(^_^) i would also say this series inspires people to want to either get back into doing classical music, or begin taking lessons.

Overall: AWESOME
Storyline: Gets too much on about how Kaho is guilty
Music: Lots of Music (some in English, Even better)
Characters: The guys on there are nice and have kool lookin' hair
Animation: When Len pays the violin its pretty much right on the notes he's playing

i love music and i love playing music too so this was the right anime for me !!!¬

i love this, its a nice anime because its mostly classical music and musical instruments used

but i dont really like the dude with the purple hair(forgot his name!!!)

the giy that plays the cello is the best guy i think because he is lazy but fits perfectly with the cello, like me hahaha

i also like the guy that plays the piano!!!!!

A MUST SEE! i actually watched this anime a long time ago, but i think im going to rewatch it. I can't believe that such an amazing show could be about music. i love music and concerts and i even play the piano, but i would never have expected to enjoy an anime about it. it makes me really appreciate what i do. it's beautiful and even if you hate classical music you'll love it.
