La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~ and ~secondo passo~

Kahoko Hino attends Seiso Gakuen High School. This high school has two courses: the normal course, and the music course. Hino attended the normal course until a fairy named Lili decided to enter Hino's life. Lili casted a magical violin upon Hino which even an amateur like herself can play in order for people to start putting more interest into music. Hino then got admitted into a contest for elite students who excel at playing their instruments where they competed. In order to get better at the violin, Hino transferred into the music course, and from there, Hino began playing her feelings out for everyone and finding herself loving the violin more and more.

If you want to watch an anime about pure music than this is the one to watch. It's unknowingly educational and not boring!
It's encouraging for those playing an instrument who feel down when they can't reach expectations. It clearly explains if you have a passion for music your life could never be okay without it! take it from someone with who surprisingly experienced it ;)
The reverse harem is pretty good too! All 5 guys raised up by one girl is truly remarkable!

La Corda D'Oro is an amazing anime to those people who plays Orchestra Instrument. For such as Violin, Cello, Clarinet and Piano and a Flute. Kahoko Hina, a normal high school girl, goes to a school were talented kids are recognized for there music. However Kahoko is just a regular student. Nothing Special at all... Or Is It?...

I love this anime because you meet different (Handsome) Boys. Also because i think that Kahoko has to choose between 5 different people.. XD...

I love this movie because it has music and romance! After I watch this movie I experienced that how music has change the feeling of people heart.After I watch this movie I've become to like music more and more.When I heard the violin were played it's feel like I've never heard it before and when I found out that is the violin,I imagines the beautiful melody.And that's how I got interested in the violin.I also love the anime character in La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~ Because they love music and they experience the music inside of them.They've show the audience that they could play if they believe that they could it and before you play it find the music inside of you first!And maybe if you love the instruments so much you don't have to!But that's your lucky charm.

La Corda d'oro? Golden string? I see, E string shines gold when Kahoko resonates with Music. Looks fantastic. As far as I know, this is the second music anime which was supported by Toho music college. I think the first one was supported by Senzoku. Kahoko Hino is a lovely girl, I will like this heroin. She plays violin? "Queen of instrument"? I didn't know this nickname. I want to see what she will play with the magical violin. I wanted that spirit to give a talent of instrument to Kahoko not magical violin.
Does she play Gavotte? There are several Gavotte but that is for beginners, maybe, 2nd year of violin lesson. I don't understand why Gavotte for a competition. Ave Maria would have been better. It is a cute song, though.

Oh, CANON for the second selection? First selection was really unexpected but this selection sounds normal.
Sometimes bowing and fingers don't match animation. Vibrato and bow's sliding up and down were matching Nodame Cantabile.

I found stories were skipping many parts. Tsuchiura, the pianist of general department, didn't want to play in competition because of bad experience in past competition, but he plays piano as a competitor in second selection. And also noticed, that school was in Yokohama. Looks very expensive school. As far as I know there is not such a gorgeous high school or college of music like that, at least around Yokohama. Maybe, Tokyo University of Arts is the model, but not so much gorgeous like Seiso Gakuin though.

In episode 19, three strings (G,D,A) cut and in episode 21, Kahoko starts violin again as a beginner. One thing, even beginners don't make that sounds. Only beginners who cannot slide a bow straight can make those noises.

In episode 26, Kahoko is taking lessons at violin class but she can play violin at least with following notes and her vibrato is not the one of beginner. Nobody cares? OK, I don't care either since Kahoko is so cute and she might be a genius.

Second passo was good. Movement of bow and sounds were matching as possible and ending made me expect third passo. Third passo is already existing. When will it be available here?
So, Lili only gave small seed to Kaho and it grew among Tsuchiura, Hihara, tsukimori, Shimizu, Fuyuumi, Yunoki, Oosaki and united them. I'm impressed.
One point classic at each end of episode is fun. It's good for beginners who don't know classic musics.
I will add more updates when I watch more episodes.

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEE reverse harem anime, so I had high hopes La Corda d'Oro. Muahaha. ;3

Seriously though, La Corda d'Oro went way beyond my expectations. All of the male characters are just absolutely lovable and charming in their own way, I would usually have a favorite but I can't even choose just one character I want the heroin to be with! Each of the guys have some great features, even their flaws make them more lovable. The anime also does a satisfyingly awesome job of covering the defining details of each character's past. It made me feel for each of the characters whenever someone was going through a rough time, and I actually found myself rooting for a fictional character! Hahaha

La Corda d'Oro also does a great job with incorperating real life facts about classical music and instruments without boring the bajeebers out of you. I really love the way the anime's message to appreciate and love music reaches right into your heart, and it really captures the beauty of music to the point where it's absolutely infectious (I actually went and dug through the junk in my garage to find my old violin and made me want to have my children learn how to play it as well).

However I was EXTREMELY dissappointed that the creators suddenly stopped on episode 2 of the second season. WTF mate.

But despite that fact, I still HIGHLY recommend you watch La Corda d'Oro. Tis totally awseome.

No words could exactly match this elusive experience. Watching all of this romantic, comedic or suspenseful anime was a blast
and in some way stupendously addictive. I give gratitude to the creators and to those behind the scenes for introducing "the score" within us. This fictitious anime has brought real life examples into the "real" world. I give thanks to "Crunchyroll" for giving an opportunity for viewers like me to preview and enjoy this lovely title. Overall everything was at its best - story line, music, characters, animation. All of these exceptional components all cooperate together to create the exuberant show we can proudly call "La Corda dOro". Thank you for allowing this media wonder to venture and hopefully more of these notorious scenes will add to make more the "Secondo Passo". I play an instrument you see and this has served as an inspiration by giving me a reality check but apart from that, by giving me a non living object(s) to relate to.
