One Anime that I didn't enjoy
After watching this I wanted the anime to actually end by the time it got to the halfway mark. I just didn't like the anime. I am normally a supporter of anime but this is one that didn't keep my attention for long. The storyline was very weak and the music was as well. The animation and characters were fantastic, with the exception of a punk version of Lucifer and the historically incorrect ...

Not your every day Stomp-zilla Movie
"Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! It's been a long time since I've watched a real good anime of such quality ... both in story & artwork! And to think, I was looking for another "Mech" story. Well done ADV. Well done." Was my comment on this movie and I meant what I said. I'm a partial fiend to watching anime. Especially some of the Mech or giant robot stuff. But every once in a while I venture ...

    Spawn meets Alice in Wonderland
The story was well thought out if slightly linear. They left the ending wide open for a sequal or even a spin off series. However, the dialogue was definatelly found wanting. I understand that english voice acting in a dubbed anime is typically of a lesser quality. However, it was not the voice acting itself that lead me to dislike a great deal of teh dialogue. Rather it was the mundane choice of ...

    What might have been ...
The Lady Death movie may look more like a He-Man and the Master's of the Universe knock off with really sexy nipples but it was actually a last ditch effort by a financially ailing company to salvage one of the top earning modern comic book franchises of the golden age of the now defunct independent graphic novel industry in North America.

Created by Brian Pulido and Steven Hughes, Lady Death ...

    Good idea, poor execution
The story wasn't terrible but it was very rushed. The boyfriend's past was given weight where it wasn't needed and yet aside from a weak training montage, we get little explanation how Lady Death becomes Lady Death. So many loose ends and the few plot points that stuck with us were just too shallow to care.

The art style wasn't awful but it was a bit bland at times. It has glimpses of ...

Fills the time if you're really bored.
"You F'ed with me, so I kicked yer A" -- Pretty much the whole story. -- Should I mark that as a spoiler? The fight scenes were just hack, hack, hack. No moves. Would have given it another star if they'd hired the Family Guy choreographers.
