  • Actually pretty charming
Initially when I saw this show, the first thing that screamed to me was how it was just begging to show you as many inadvertent tit grabs, panty shots, and walk-in-shower scenes as it could get away with. And while the show is undeniably very tame compared to many others, it still does shamelessly provide that shallow pandering. Not that I'm complaining, I love being flashed some fanservice here ...

  • Hidden treat, must watch for a unique slice of life ..
Every character in this series had a purpose and was involved with the story from the beginning to the end. This was a perfect slice of life comedy that is built on a good foundation of essential characters that all have depth. None of the episodes were filler and every episode moved the story along purposefully. I just wish it did not end so soon, it could exist in itself as a series that would ...

  • Hmm... good and bad.
The whole way through this anime was enjoyable, yet it still leaves a slightly bitter taste, it seems to forget some of it's own plot devices, such as the eldest sister's one-sided crush on her sister's uncle (would it be step-uncle, considering her step-mother married into the family?), other than acting very 'housewife-ey' at times, there is no exloration of this thread - and let's face it, ...

  • Enjoyable story, no train wreck at the end!
This story was cute and enjoyable. The premise is that three sisters are being raised by their uncle Yuuta, who is still in high school. It had a tragic thread woven into it, but in a sense that was necessary to drive the story line. Beyond the early tragedy, the story stayed fairly light-hearted and cute the entire time, with some occasional serious moments here and there. The voice acting ...

  • Listen to Me, Girls, I’m Your Father!
this anime are really good. sometimes the ecchi part really awful to this serious anime. the theme are really skeptical if u see the 1st episode. but i dont like 'judge the book by it's cover'. once the episode 2 start, i really dont want to miss this anime. the Hina cuteness make the sadness of the anime flying away. sometimes my eyes always full of tears(for a man, its really a shame, lol) . but ...

  • Anime with Lessons , Love and Family !
I have watch the anime and I finished the whole series in 1 week . But , I was entertained during the series by how tragic is the fact that Yuuta's sister and brother-in-law leaved him with their children . Also , how hard his journey with raising his three nieces and how much love and care he shows to his younger family members . Yuuta gets two or three jobs to give support with his nieces ...

    Not your typical anime series
If your looking for mech, sci-fi, fuedal times, harem, fanservice, love triangle, fantasy, romance, etc you will not find it here, so why do I recommend it? This is a show that has a strong foothold in reality. There is a bit of romance, a hint of a love triangle, and a school companion that offers a touch of fanservice but the basic storyline is not about any of these things. It takes place in ...

  • More than meets the eye
I think hardcore Anime/Manga lovers might find Listen to me girls. I'm your father! to be a tat bit too mainstream for their liking. After all, most episodes are filled with harem fan service (sorry girls), while characters such as the male lead, Yuuta Segawa, seem rather bland from constantly reiterating his exhaustion from having to find more money, time and living conditions for his three ...

  • Found myself wanting more.
This series has an amazing mix of sentimental, happy, and humorous moments. I love the art, the characters, the story, etc. Anime is meant to be exaggerated and when you get over that, you really get to enjoy work such as this.

  • When life throws you a curveball.
Very enjoyable anime with some good characters. I think it was almost too clever with how it resolved things, but it's a good, somewhat light-hearted drama. It's never really running you ragged with the more depressing parts and all too happy to give you something cute to look at, but the drama is still there and I think its more understated nature is one of the show's biggest selling ...
