  • Lucky Star Review by RUA
Lucky star… so…. f****… funny.... and cute. I never thought that I would particularly like an anime that made me watch something that had a different plot in every episode, but I surprisingly loved the f*** out of it. It includes all of the randomness out of high school life and totally makes it into one giant joke. If you’re an anime lover, you should absolutely watch Lucky Star.

  • Lucky Star = lucky me!
I'll begin with a simple question: Why did it take me so long to finally watch this show?! Lucky Star is slice-of-life at its very best--nothing crazy or over-the-top, just some school friends and their families muddling through life and their own individual quirks. This is a show that really focuses on the relationships between its characters, and is perfect for anyone who has ...

  • Lucky Star and Moe Otaku Culture?
Lucky Star. originally a 4-koma manga. Like almost all 4-koma manga. A happy school life with comedy. A otaku. Needs to diet? Let's bake cookies! Dentists and eyedrops are scary. With the happy school life of Konata Kagami Tsukasa and Miyuki, there's also Lucky Channel a small part based on everyone's beloved yandere Akira Kogami!!! <3 If you're getting bored remeber the younger students too!!

  • Anime Series That Cheers Me Up~
Ohh, this series. Oh my gosh. You will never know how much of a bond I have throughout this anime. It's funny, and it calms you down because of its` hilarious moments. Lol.

Most character I can relate to is Tsukasa. I'm a total maiden and I like talking about love, I get embarrassed easily and I have a total weird friend who is best friends with my sister. And I like hair ribbons. c:

  • Humor about everyday.
Lovely series with some lovely characters, especially the protagonist, Konata.
The rest are really likable, but not so epic.

The series are about everyday happenings. Some would call it boring, but otaku audience will, and did, enjoy it. This series is moe.

And Lucky Channel is really funny.

    Highly recommended.

A comedy anime based on 4-panel manga
Lucky Star is a one of my favorite show. I like characters (Kagami's best!) and there are otaku themed joked spread around it.

I happened to recognize most of reference, and actually DVD version came with a booklet explaining those. Unfortunately, without access to it, you may have hard time getting some of references.

Not very funny, with generic characters
I only watched the first five episodes, so maybe starting with the sixth this show suddenly becomes hilarious.

What I watched, though, was a random, aimless slice of life comedy filled with game and anime references. In the last episode I watched, one of the recurring jokes was the blue-haired girl referring to specifics in her MMORPG, saying things like, "I'm a tank and I pulled the mob." and ...

  • Azumanga Daioh copy...
This is going to be hard. Lucky Stay is one of those comical shows that can go in every direction. Sometimes it’s a sit down and talk show and sometimes it’s an otaku love show. Let’s see, if you like random shit in your moe pie then you would really like this.

Now that I have said this, I do have to say that I am one of those people… I actually like this show a lot. It doesn’t try to be ...

A story that's awsome even without a plot XD
Constant talk about stuff people wouldn't care to listen to made interesting. Lucky Star is very cute with the chibi like characters and simple background music. It is full of references from other animes, which is like a Easter egg hunt for Otakus! If you enjoy slice of life shows that are mellow and go in dept on the life of Japanese students you'll love this! It is anticlimatic and is good to ...
