    First Impressions - Magi
Hello everyone, and welcome to First Impressions.

Here's something that I bet you don't know about reviewers, most of us don't like to review good shows. Like any other person, we like to watch them. But reviewing a good show is actually a bit harder to do, not nearly as entertaining to the people seeing it, and not as educational to people wanting to create a show. And if how good something ...

MAGI IS SOMETHING THAT WILL GO BIG
This review contains no spoilers. So don't worry. ^_^
Magi is an amazing series. To explain to Americans easily: it's a combo of Disney's Alladin movie + Japanese Culture + Superb Animation + GREAT Fast-Paced Action.
As soon as you start the series, you see great character development. It will surprise any anime fan.
Now, to help you get a feeling of the story, I will explain the "crust" of ...

  • I may yet change this rating after watching more episodes.
I like the attempt to draw from Arabian Nights. Artwork was decent. Story was decent. Not a bad anime. However, it didn't do much for me. I think it just wasn't quite what I was looking for at the time that I watched. However, it was good enough that I am sure that I will check it out again. Hence, my rating at present is subject to change.

  • Adventure, Comedy, Love, Tragedy - you've got it all!
Someone had some damn nice mix of multiple stories. Aladdin, Ali Baba and 40 Thieves, The One Thousand and One Nights and on top of that is Three Kingdoms. It is not easy to mix different stories together. And it is even harder to mix them well. I love this one. I definitely recommend others to watch it. You will not regret it.

  • An interesting adventure
Magi is a fresh and new twist on names every person knows. Its comedic releif and all but weak characters make Magi a literal blast on the magic genre, and leaves a pleasent mark on the Anime name. The deep laiden story and well developed characters of the Empires make for an interesting watch and not a moment goes to waste. Overall, I throughly recomend Magi for all Anime ...

  • Magi overall 5/5....
I love Magi, they way the go about the use of magic to the way sword fights are fought, the art style is amazing, and so to is the humor, the fact that the anime/manga series doesn't seem overly serious nor extremely goofy, i do hope that the make more seasons, that would be super amazing!

    A Diamond in the Rough
So I'm an adult anime fan, not a teen or kid that loves what I call "candy" or "pop" anime. I had my fill in my teens when I had the Anime Network- I've seen way TOO MUCH anime, in my life, I think, since I'm realizing I'm kinda like a gourmand or connoisseur of anime at this point. I thought this show looked stupid and childish, but I'm into the aesthetic and setting, so I gave it a ...

  • Overall, a quality show to watch.
This show is very funny at times and emotional. I rate this 5 stars based on how much I enjoyed the series and how much I enjoyed it overall for episodes 1-25 at the time I'm writing this. It has it's dull moments, because there are many good moments where the story comes to a high point, therefore the feeling of epicness must drop. This is something that happens many times and natural for a good ...

    MAGI and One thousand Nights
This show gave me an A in English. The character names are based on the book One Thousand and One Nights and the settings for each character gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. At first I wasn't very interested in the first episode but once you get into the groove, you realize that Shinobu Ohtaka (the mangaka) is a goddess. The story plot doesn't drag on or pile up, but , instead, it builds on to the ...

  • One of the Best New(ish) Animes
If you like Shonen, especially titles with good character development, great plot, and drama, you'll like this one. With a variety of interesting and unique characters, Magi takes an emotional toll as you watch, without leaving you feeling empty for long. The characters are very deep; most of them have a struggle of some kind, yet at the same time they don't mimic each others'. If you like titles ...
