Amidst a summer heat wave with no air conditioning, the Odd Jobs office quickly turns into a steam house. When Gintoki and Kagura fight over and break the Senpuki (fan), their only means of dealing with the heat, Gintoki reluctantly heads out to buy a new one – only to run into extreme difficulties. Every store tells him they no longer sell an obsolete product like the fan and recommends buying an AC instead, which is beyond Gintoki’s budget. Finally, Gintoki comes across a recycled goods shop called the “Earth Defense Army Base.” Upon entering the store, he finds himself embroiled with the female store owner’s battle to protect the “Senpuki (???)"…?! |
