@VDon there is a Plot hole they did stop the clock earlier on a first down in this episode @7:50 - 8:10, but don't worry Monta saved the day.

If Agon can recover that quickly and catches up to a guy running the 40 in 4:2 after being juked out of his pants that would make Agon the greatest defensive player in the history of football. So unreal but I still like this anime.

Also if E21 faked Agon out like that w/his speed he's gone but in this anime he goes down on a reaching chop lol. Chops like that are illegal in football.

Ok something had to of happened at the end with Monta. He said Catch MAX!!! What did he say that for, what was he catching? Maybe he was catching some of the sideline grass or something? Man if they keep going it has to be Monta's fault.

they have another ep where they are still playing so something must have happened right? o.O

Clock stops on incomplete passes, out of bounds, possession change, touchdowns, kicks, penalty and kickoffs. The reason they were able to stop the clock before was because Hiruma was spiking the ball which is the same as an incomplete pass.

The clock was stopped to move the chains earlier in the episode, so I don't see why it wouldn't stop after Monta's catch.

Oh and Mongoose would be correct if this was college football. Most football leagues including high school and NFL do not stop the clock after a first down.
