Lee-leng hears that Eugene has been abducted from Lady Glücksköld, who suddenly visits him at his estate. To get to the bottom of the story he calls Carl, though his conversation is overheard by Kajika. Wanting to be able to help Rumaty and his supporters, Kajika offers her help. Lee-leng fiercely opposes the idea. Kajika agrees not to go, though in her heart she has already made a decision.Subtitles:
