Mitsudomoe

First looked at this and thought it to be a lolicon show, but after I gave it a shot, was great. Although the characters are drawn to look like young elementary students, apparently they're 6th graders. Still young, but that's part of the comedy. They way they act is completely bizarre for their age. The three sisters and the teacher are the main characters here. Of the sisters, the youngest is a socially awkward often misunderstood romance novel reader. The middle sister is father loving muscle bound boob obsessed and a surprisingly good artist, only when drawing boobs though. The eldest sister is a sadist whom finds herself hurt by the middle sister and has a surprisingly innocent side. As for the teacher, he's a pretty normal guy who just want to be a teacher for completely normal reasons, but often finds himself is an odd situation because of his abnormal students.

The story is pretty straight forward, the life of the sisters. It's a simple story, but works as it's a comedy.

The music is pretty cute and fits the story perfectly.

The characters are great. Absolutely hilarious combination of child and mature humor. Somewhat like Shin Chan in that they don't act their age.

The animation is great, but only problem is they look younger than the story says they are, which people seem to see this as a lolicon thing. It's cute, and often works with the humor, but it's obvious of whom the target audience is.

SO! Apart from the lolicon style of drawing, it's a great comedy, has a solid story and great characters. Many laughs await your in this anime. So long as you give it a good chance, you'll find yourself laughing and going to the next episode.

To anyone interested in watching this series: The first episode is far beyond ridiculous and difficult to finish with its highly sexualized children. The show holds its perverted nature until the end, but tones it down a bit while hilarious the whole way through. The running gags of teacher-student misunderstandings, the incredible talents and flaws of the twin sisters, even the play on Gachi rangers as a serious show makes everything easy to relate to despite how extreme the scenarios get sometimes.
Most of the characters (like the sisters) are middle schoolers, but even the adults are drawn with baby faces, so it's difficult to tell their ages apart. A great show, but might make some people uncomfortable because of its dirty humor.

i saw a show with kids, bright colors nd their diffrent personallities wen i saw the pic but its soooo much more than that. they are drawn to look lik kinder gardeners but actually they are 6th graders its funny to watch their adventures and lives. i showed my fried nd she absolutly adores them. i lik sensi and youngest best idk why but they stick out to me the most nd youngestes book should be banned from school or she schould at least make a copy for Chiba but still very funny/pervish/violent but still really great

Okay to start off with, Excellent on all the star ratings. The storyline is amazing and hilarious, I laughed so hard at times my green tea shot out of my nose. Really, it did. It's got it's perverted moments but that also helps to make it even more hilarious and a none stop laugh fest. A small note to those who don't like anime with hentai related things, don't watch them and then nag about them if you don't like them,okay?! XD
The music was so cute and fast paced, perfect to sing along to and even dance, I know I did. I downloaded all the music off Itunes I could find. It's makes me hyper, which is a good thing, and happy to hear at the opening of the anime. Awesome J-Pop choice. The characters all have the perfect personalities to play their rolls and you can tell they were though out very well, I myself love Futaba and Hitoha the most. Because Hitoha can have such a dark side and also be totally kawaii, only when sick of course, which makes it funny and even cuter! And Futaba has a care free attitude which I think is fun to watch, and who ever heard of a child like her being so strong? Amazingly hilarious!!!
Overall, this anime is worth watching. You'll laugh, cry a little from laughing, and never want it to end. I recommend to everyone who reads this or sees the anime, watch it! Watch it now!!! ^_~

i have not yet found a child 3+ who is not obsessed with boobies, i do a lot of baby sitting and i know from experience that children (little girls mostly) like to touch them, talk about them, and do many bizarre things to grow them. its every little girls dream to have them. by 3rd grade the only topic spoken at the lunch table was sex. and all the time children are learning more at a younger age than there older brothers or sisters, in 7th grade half my class lost there virginity, and now my little sisters class (4th grade) many of the kids have had sex. i see 1st graders french kissing, i think this show is hilarious but sickeningly accurate.

Mitsudomoe was first aired in Japan on July,2,2010 and is a slice of life anime.it was brought to Japan by studio Bridge,It took off over the weeks that it aired making it fairly popular among anime lover in Japan.There is also a second season known as Mitsudomoe Zōryōchū! The eldest of the Marui triplets, enjoys causing mischief and is aptly described as a "precocious sadist". She is easily embarrassed and quick to deny her feelings toward someone, when she really does care. A running gag in the anime is that her desk always gets destroyed by Futaba as well as getting injured by her too. She is pretty conscious about her weight. She appears to have a superiority complex, always wanting her classmates to address her as Mitsuba-sama and serve her. Her name means "three-leaf." In season 2 she eats more food than ever before.
Futaba Marui (丸井 ふたば Marui Futaba?)
Voiced by: Satomi Akesaka[2]
The middle of the Marui triplets, she's energetic and airheaded but also can speak and act lecherously. She is mostly seen barefoot. It's explained that while Futaba is goofy, she does have dedication when the topic is about breasts; she has a strange boob obsession. She is also very artistic. Futaba always thinks of others before herself but her common sense is a bit twisted. She is also the strongest out of the sisters and often ends her sentences in "ssu", a contraction for "desu". Out of the Marui sisters, she seems to be the only one close to their father. She gets along with the boys mostly due to their shared interest in boobs. Out of the boys, she is close to Shinya whom she call affectionately as Shin-chan. Due to their close friendship, many girls glare daggers at her. Her name means "two-leaf."
Hitoha Marui (丸井 ひとは Marui Hitoha?)
Voiced by: Haruka Tomatsu[2]
The youngest of the Marui triplets, she tends to be quiet and mysterious. She always seems to be reading a book in class which has shown to be very erotic. She also shows a death glare at anyone who tries to take it away from her. She may not intend this glare to be so vicious, as it also appears when she's particularly nervous, embarrassed or uncertain, such as when giving in to her teacher and asking a few of her classmates to walk home together. She has a soft side for Nipples (the class hamster) and gets jealous when other people play with him. She shows to be crueler than Mitsuba when she is disturbed. Out of the two sisters, Hitoha is kinder to Futaba as the little sister and always pull pranks on Mitsuba. She appears to be deathly afraid of heights and cannot swim well, going as far as saying swimming is pointless. She happens to be a fan of Gachi Rangers (a parody of Super Sentai/Power Rangers), yet she doesn't say it out loud, even though she wants to. Her name means "one-leaf."

Overall:This anime is fun and a stress realeavier, I recommend this to anyone who wants laugh but also enjoy a good anime >u<

I was in grade 6 not long ago...and when people say "ohh they shouldn'y be acting like that their only in grade 6" well im sorry to say i was in grade 6 3 years ago ago and people who say that ^ ^ well it's not true most kids start talking about sex by gr5 and so i am very pissed of at that person that wrote in his review"ohhhhh there acting tooo bizzare for their age

Mitsudomoe is to anime what Benny Hill is to comedy. For every person who calls it crass, inappropriate or slightly disturbing there is someone who loves the boundary-pushing humor and hilariously wrong situations.

Like Lucky Star, Mitsudomoe's episodes are very loosely tied to each other, which means you aren't getting a superb story with lots of drama...but this actually works to the show's favor. It's one of those series you can just pick a few favorite episodes out and re-watch them when you're feeling down or depressed. A wonderful little pick-me-up that makes you laugh till you wet yourself.

With some really sharp animation, a catchy opening theme and some clever character types (Futaba is one of my favorite new anime characters of this season) Mitsudomoe is the kind of silly, cute, colorful little anime that only the hardest of hearts could find no joy in.

Though if you don't like oppai jokes or pantsu gags you might want to pass it by.

While it requires a certain taste and is certainly not for everyone this show is hilarious. Its pretty pervy but not at all times. This show isn't exactly like Azumanga Daioh but that's what it reminds me of and I have enjoyed it almost as much as I did with Azumanga.

The story is a bit simple but seeing as it's a comedy, the story really isn't all that important.

Characters are fun and interesting. However, pretty typical characters with some unique twists.

The animation is awesome though since it takes place in a elementary school has a bit of a chibi feel to it. I like style however.

Music. Don't even get me started on the theme song. I can't get it out of my head and sing it all the time. It's just addicting for some reason.

Overall, if you don't mind pervyness and enjoy random humor and a lot of slapstick I think you'll find this a very enjoyable anime!
