This review is just for Gundam 00's season 1, there would be too much to cover in S2 and I don't want to give
any spoilers just in case, but I'll say....openings and ending are great. That is the only non-spoiler I can give xD
Gundam 00 S1 does not fall short of any character development, the moment that you see a character you
feel that you really want to know who they are and what they are ...

Gundam 00 S1 does not fall short of any character development, the moment that you see a character you
feel that you really want to know who they are and what they are thinking and feeling. My only real
complaint about character development is that the Trinity siblings fell short of that, my only impression
of Johann and Michael was that one was always calm to a point where you want to choke him and see
if he gags and the other...frigging basketcase but he was fun to watch on screen, I really wanted to know
more about these characters. I fell in love with Nena when I first saw her, she is sweet and innocent
looking but is proven can be nasty and evil.

Ali was a great baddy and they made great use of him being everyones enemy,
that is unless you are the one signing his paycheck. I do however feel that Setsuna is a perfected Heero Yuy, I say
this because it is even seen in the first 5 minutes what his life had been like for a while, but Heero's history
like most of the other Gundam pilots were not even whispered until the movie.
The designs for the Gundams were simple but the kind of simple that it made them fantastic, Exia being a close range fighter, Virtue being a heavy attack unit which would be best a support unit, Kyrios seems like a hit-and-run mobile suit and Dynames a long range unit that also suits as a support unit. I just felt disapointed with the Throne Drei's designs, it looks great but it doesn't really have much for weapons, it has the stealth field and beam cannon but that's it. Also the design of the Flag is still smexy.
The animation was clear and you could see everything that was going on, the ships and mobile suits all looked very pretty and clean and that's without Blu-Ray. The GN particles really do get someones attention with that glow that create which always makes me think of how cool it would be to see this series in 3-D.

The storyline will be liked by anyone who enjoyed Wing as it is almost the same idea but 00 just seems to have a
clearer plotline and better characters and support characters, you would grow attached to so many characters and if they had died but were minor you still feel like you had just lost a main character. It is well paced and doesn't leave you needing more due to this show's delivery.
The music really steals the show, it has a great epic feel like the show itself is a movie, it leaves me praying about the new movie's soundtrack. Songs are however reused but unless you pay really close attention and watched this series multiple times I doubt that you will notice it. The openings are all great with visuals and the songs do a good job with making you want to get it on your iPod, the ending songs set a mood which leaves and emotional impact for me due to the visuals during the song.
If you have not seen this show yet then go do so and then the 2nd season as well and get ready for the movie.
