great series that stands up years later
The very first anime series I watched. Overall its a very solid series that holds up well years after I first saw it. Story is great and offers some depth and layer. It's not centered around mindless fighting, but uses the fighting to show the ideals of the characters themselves. Same is true for the inevitable war and leaders of the various factions. Music isn't a highlight and doesn't ...

    Classic Anime Gundam Wing
After Colony 195, the year in which Gundam Wing is set, is full of secrets. Many of the characters in this series have big secrets that they attempt to keep through out the series. As the secrets are revealed one by one the story rapidly unfolds and draws you into a philosophical and high action adventure. Each of the Gundams and their pilots have their specialties and when they finally combine ...

One of the classics that will never be forgotten
Gundam Wing was one of the first dubbed series I loved to watch on TV. I always loved coming home from school and plopping in front of the TV to watch it. I grew up watching Anime and because of shows like this on TV back in the day I continue to watch Anime now. To me, it is a classic. Its also an Anime that can even intrigue non Anime lovers and I think its mostly because of the whole mecha ...

Excuse me sir, there is Wing in my Gundam.
After being recommended by scores of people, I decided to give Gundam Wing a chance, and I was not let down. While Gundam Wing has plenty of giant robot action, it delivers in terms of story and characters. Granted the story can be confusing at times, and may need a second or third glance.
The plot was compelling, and it was all to easy to get caught up watching multiple episodes in a sitting, ...

A classic from the early days of American dubbing
This anime, Gundam Wing, was the first anime to ever get me to thinking. Sure, at the same time as this aired I was watching Digimon Adventure and Pokemon, but those were aired as Saturday Morning entertainment fodder. I first saw Gundam Wing ten years ago when Toonami was just getting off the ground, and watching it again on this site just brought back all sorts of memories.

    But a review is ...

    The core of Japanese anime
Here is a short review on the Mobile Suit Wing series. Even if this show dates back a decade ago, one cannot forget that it is one of the greatest Gundam series created. The overall storyline is unique but being more of a modern person I am, I would definitely have prefered different character hairstyles. On the other hand, this was a show that was created over a decade ago, so the ...

    Recommended for Gundam 00 watchers.
I've watched this anime far before any of the recent gundams came out, and it didn't disappoint, other than the fact that i had to watch it dubbed. Overall the anime was very interesting, because there were many different twists and turns. Storyline-wise, it has a meaning, and it's well-conveyed in this anime. Music was alright, there weren't really any ost's that caught my ear. Characters are ...

Well Done - but not the best
Gundam Wing was my favorite series back when it appeared on Cartoon Network's "Toonami" lineup. Characters are likable, in some cases (Relena) annoying, and the animation is pure Sunrise. You know what you're gonna get for this era, and that's not bad. Story? Typical Gundam war-fare, where we're told how terrible war is, and so forth. The Gundams themselves are awesome of course, with the best ...

Gundam Wing, America's Original for 1990's
When this series first came to America, many many years ago.

    It was "Awesome."

This is the series that allowed the children to continue watching giant Robots battling for World Peace and the like.
This was one of the greatest Gundam series ever created probably because it had childhood influences.

Looking back at this series now, not only brought nostalgic feelings but just to ...

Nostalgic but good only if you are a teen
This was the first Gundam series I saw in US. Compared to the other cartoons on TV at the time, this was a beacon of hope that reignited my love of mecha anime (as well as anime in general). The plot is intricate and sophisticated (at least for teens and pre-teens). There is that teenage angst that all main characters imbues that I could relate to (and subsequently can no longer relate to). The ...
