A captivating experience with total fixation.
My little monster. I don't know how I ended up finding this, but i'm so glad I did. This is Shoujo?, no, this is amazing. There should be no limitation for the demographic, instead I invite these animes into my world, because from what iv'e seen this anime gave me production value beyond belief. It was as if this anime defied the run time on episodes, I swear it felt like 40 mins instead of 20 at ...

    A Cute, heart-warming Love Story
Mainly this show focuses on the development of Shizuku and Haru's relationship. They both become friends, and they both grow as characters with the help of each other. The first episode had me hooked. Shizuku, is strong-willed, and possesses a lack of emotions. She tends to focus on academics, and it competitive when it comes to grades and test scores. Haru, however, is very expressive and is ...

  • Great show that I would recommend to any one, especially those new to anime.
I wish I could find more anime like this one. It is touching and heat warming with out becoming repetitive. It can also be very funny and has very few dull moments. It's very nice to see a romance anime that isn't bogged down with unnecessary sexual content like nudity or awkward shots of women. I feel like I could show this to a girl and not be embarrassed by it.

  • Fun, crazy, cute, and easygoing
The first episode hooked me instantly. It's an adorable tale of a girl and boy becoming friends and by doing so helping each other grow as people. Shizuku's a strong-willed student, intelligent, and composed to the point it seems to verge on the side of numb. Haru, on the other hand, has trouble keeping composure with his extreme emotions, though he too is intelligent and strong-willed. I love how ...

  • What a show!!! WOWOWWOW
All I can say is wow. In my opinion it was a great show that was nicely executed, I mean the characters you can't help but relate. After the first episode I knew half of my day was going to be well spent watching this. What I love most of this show was the amount of screen time the cock got. They even gave the cock a name which happened to be Nagoya. I say 10/10 on the amount of screen time ...

  • i expected more from this
I really was hoping for more of a happy ending but it just did not give that closure, so if you want something with more of a direct and decent ending read the manga, or watch a different shoji. Everything was good other than the ending very enjoyable and funny.

  • Amazing, It made you feel feels
There were moments a 23 minute show felt like 40. I'm glad I stubbled across this. If you are looking for short, sweet, funny, and happy endings you got it right here. I just wonder if there is going to be a 2nd season. Watch it! You'll be happy you did.

  • The pain is real!!!!
    This thing is so bittersweet.
It loves to make you hate it and you will love to hate it. You simply can't help but both love and hate this show.
As much as Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun made me smile, just as much was it painful to watch. It's really good at making you care about its characters completely. The emotions it tries to wake in you, it does with good narrative and pacing. A thing I feel most ...

  • Disappointing and boring
This anime had the potential to be a very interesting one but half way through the push and pull of the relationship between the two central characters got a little annoying and frustrating. The most disappointing thing of all time is the ending though. Everything is left unresolved practically. Its so ambiguous, even though the anime is only 13 episodes It still felt like a monstrous waste of my ...
