Finally, a shoujo with a strong MC!
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun or "My Little Monster" is a new type of shoujo. Instead of a weak main girl, we have strong and fearless Shizuku who strives to be the best, and Haru, the delinquent with a heart of gold. They come together and create an unlikely duo with comedy that is just priceless. This anime will defiantly leave a mark in what defines 'shoujo-anime'. I recommend this for anyone ...

    Love at First Sight!
It's so adorable and sweet for a first episode!
Haru is really easy to fall in love with and Shizuku may seem distant and a bit cold but deep inside she cares for Haru!
I love how we know that they are both already in love with each other and are really close.
I can't wait for the next episode!

    My Little Monster first look
First the clarity of the anime is great.Second Yoshida and Mizutani are so different that they actually match up but with with plenty of humor. It's a lot of laughs with a few life lessons here and there and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Seemingly Abusive Relationship, However, A Breath of Fresh Air
Thinking back on this anime, I find that I really sway on how I feel about it, ergo: three stars. I found the male love interest to be a bit frustrating to watch as he was a very realistic, very illogical person. Let me hold my hands up here - his character and every single other character in the show is very realistic and relatable. However, what dips the rating below four or five stars is just ...

A very deep anime about how dank it can be.
Well first you got the main character Haru (who is very dank) and his love interest Shizuku (who is dank like Haru), they fall in love with each other, and have a dank romance anime that will surpass your dank exepctations, if I had to give this anime a dank score it would be a 10 on the dank scale, but gg no season 2.

Watched This In ONE SITTING! ♥
This is a very cute and a funny anime. Usually, romantic comedies - the girls are always daydreaming and girly. Mitty is quite plain and rarely shows signs of being lovey dovey. This show is very entertaining. With only 13 episodes, the ending is left still open so I really hope there is a Season 2 for this! Yoshida is quite funny and the chicken is also very cute and unforgettable. There isn't a ...

    A Cute, heart-warming Love Story
Mainly this show focuses on the development of Shizuku and Haru's relationship. They both become friends, and they both grow as characters with the help of each other. The first episode had me hooked. Shizuku, is strong-willed, and possesses a lack of emotions. She tends to focus on academics, and it competitive when it comes to grades and test scores. Haru, however, is very expressive and is ...

The art of not getting a girlfriend
So I was just surfing the net without a care of my preliminary examinations that were awaiting me the following week when I had an epiphany-I haven't tried out the slice-of-life-rom-com genre in quite a while. There are tons to choose from and I mean TONS but good ones have never really crept into the wide domain that is animedom. Its a safe bet, then, that you should go for the more popular ones. ...

Excellent, But Not Your Average Romantic Comedy
Although I was really sad with how short it was, every episode was fantastic to watch. Really good build up of characters (unfortunately it ends whilst still building up the story's of each individual or couple). I do like the art style, the parts that make you melt a a bit and the ones that make you laugh. All in all cut short, watch it, you won't regret it until you crave more! <3

SeeSaw Love Balancing Desires and Growing Wise
The first episode grabbed my heart and held on until the end that I did not want to come. Aside from one shocking statement in an uncomfortable moment, the excesses of the characters and their characteristics/characterizations somehow felt more real than most TV-teen shows.

This speaks to the heart: finding the balance between love and study, love and duty, love and work; and growing open, ...
