Myself; Yourself - Decent romance-drama with a touch of comedy
    Plot

This anime is about Sana, a boy that moved away from his hometown Sakuranomori to Tokyo when he was eleven. At his farewell party he receives gifts from his friends and the most notable gift is from Nanaka which has written him a song on her violin. Though not complete she promise him that the next time they meet it'll be finished.

When five years has passed, Sana is on his way ...

    My description of Myself;Yourself ^_^
This is a heart touching anime that talks about Sana Hidaka a sixteen year old boy who comes back to the town he left as child, in hopes of becoming the person he used to be by being around friends who he thought would be the same as before. But all isn't well with all of his friends, being such a long time since they seen each other a lot of changes have occurred in his friends life styles, some ...

A good show to watch through once
"Myself; Yourself" was definitely OK. There were a few spots with some good laughs. The characters were developed pretty well. The ending was pleasant. Overall this was a great time killer once. I am unlikely to watch again and I wouldn't pay to own it, but a good watch through once.

The only major negative comment about this show was that the story was horribly unbalanced. The show wanted to ...

    Fascinating Anime!!!!
Myself; Yourself is a refreshing and wonderful anime. It has the usual slice of life material focusing on a group of kids growing up and dealing with high school there is romance, comedy and many traits we love in anime. However what seperates this anime is its depth and the eventual revelation of serious issues and obstacles faced by the kids behind the scenes. This anime shows the dark side of ...

You will love it or hate it...
... but you won't leave without being affected. Although it seems the plotline has some weird twists, almost every little sidestory has a meaning and helps building the whole story.

Sana, a boy wo left his home town some years ago, returns home and meets his childhood friends again. Time has passed, and although they try to start where they left years ago, after short time it becomes obvious ...

A cast of misfits and a bittersweet set of romances
The story itself is gonna be something you either love or hate. It deals with a Sana and Nanaka who were childhood buddies. The guy (Sana) moves away, and so many things happen to the Nanaka that it becomes rather depressing after awhile and you just want to say *will anything go right for her*.

The show does have some romance though. It is a harem anime in my opinion in the fact that there ...

    Not worth finishing...
Started out okay, but there is an underlying emo tone that train wrecks it halfway through. It's as if all the characters are Mary-Sues and the only depth of character they have are poorly-developed tragedies of their past. The plots for the reveal of the tradegies are so brief and jumpy, they leave zero emotional impact. I got easily bored with the jumping from vague sob story to vague sob ...

    There really isn't much here
I am a bit disappointed. It almost seems like they ran out of money 11 episodes in and had to close out within 13 instead of a planned 26 episodes. There is no central conflict, a plethora of loose ends, minimal character development, and an incomplete story structure (no climax or falling action, just a jump from rising action to conclusion). The characters are likeable enough, but really lack ...

Good but forgettable in a lot of ways
For as much drama and hardship there is in this series, the story really did not stick with me! There is romance and its bumpy and the payoff just was not that great for me! I did watch the series religiously but it left my memory pretty quickly too. Worth a weekend if you want something to marathon!

    Powerful, Emotional, Lifechanging.
YouTube is often how i find my anime, this one was no exception to this.
The beginning was probably the best i seen, it really gripped me and it acutely made me want to keep watching to the point i did. It made me watch the whole anime in one day! One day! Then with each episode you learn something about everyone, who they are, there past, and so many questions are raised in such a way that is ...
