Myself; Yourself,
I great anime that will challenge your strength of heart as the main characters all go through hard times in order to obtain what they want most. This anime was an amazing series and I would compare it to H20: Footprints in the Sand (Recommended!) for the plot and storyline are for the most part the same. The storyline was not as saddening as H20 but will still make just about anyone cry. I really wish they would have not rushed the anime and allowed for more time for the suspense to take hold, but alas, most of these romance animes don't last very long. The ending was a bit unsatisfactory and it doesn't really leave space for a second season, but don't let that be a reason to keep from watching it. Overall, I give it a 4 1/2. Enjoy!

STORYLINE
Let's begin... now! So, this story is about Sana, a teen who returns to his hometown. This storyline has been seen quite a few times actually. Here, however, the main character is completely lost even in his hometown. His friends are found one by one and before I spoil any more of it for you, i'll say this: the show really is dramatic. If you see my profile, you'll notice that I describe this as the first time I cried because of an anime. Well, the feelings of each of them are so authentic that they can reach this reaction. The story takes a couple of turns along the way which completely shake their world. Other than that, this show actually changes a little the already cliché episodes in the beach or sports festival.
MUSIC
The reason this show doesn't get a perfect 10 ( or 5 if you want to be strict and use the star rating ) is because of its music. The music is good , unfortunately , good is as far as it gets. They are relaxing and exciting, but there is no special effect or great performance. Even though , the scene in which I cried, for you who have watched it's the train scene in chapter 11. There is the only scene I can think of that reaches your heart.
CHARACTERS
The characters in this show are very typical ones, with the exception that each of them has a distinctive quality that saves them from falling to the fatal, deathly pit of stereotypes. They have good backgrounds and each of them has a deep relationship to the main character, except one, but again no spoilers.
ANIMATION
The art design in this show is actually kind of dull since it goes for a darker tone than what I usually watch. Now you're asking YOURSELF ( oh, bad puns return) why this show has 5 stars in animation. The reason is because the characters look more human and the art really matches with the intensity of the storyline. Even though this last comment is an opinion of mine and is completely subjective, I love the main character's red eyes.
I MYSELF THINK THAT...
...this show has a really great storyline and characters. If you can get in anyway related to the characters and try to fell what they do, oh boy( or girl) you're in for a world of tears. Great show and with enough comic relief to save it from a novel, but not too much as to make it a comedy.

Overall- Four Stars
Overall this show was amazing! Especially for a short show. Sometimes it's hard for people to start liking and understanding the characters in a short series, but this one was easy to connect to.

Storyline- Four Stars
Everything was great!... Until the end. I hated it how it ended and hardly explained anything. I wanted to know where the twins went!

I was looking for a nice, light-hearted drama/romance to watch when I randomly picked Myself;Yourself from the list. I knew nothing about it, and was just going by the summary on the anime's page. On the one hand, I was not disappointed - the show is fairly quality, with characters you can get invested in, some mysteries to be solved, and good (if not great) animation and art.

On the other hand, I was unprepared for how dark this show gets towards the end. Without spoiling anything, I will simply say this show is not the light-hearted romp I was originally looking for. Many of the characters have some serious issues which are revealed later in the series, and it took me by total surprise because early on you do not expect those sorts of things in this sort of show. It's still enjoyable, because it is pulled off well, but it was definitely a departure from my expectations.

Overall, however, an enjoyable show. If you're looking for a decent, quick drama, look no further. Just be prepared for dark subject matter further in.

Just as the title says, it made me cry in a good way, especially the ending, but im not gonna tell you about it coz it'll spoil ^^
When i first started watching this anime, i wasnt sure about what was about to come, however it turned out really well.
The story is a very pretty one, with lots of love, heartfullness and sweetness...however it also had its creepy moments..

The main protagonist, sana is a very nice and polite guy, he regains his memories of all his friends he had back in his younger years
later in the anime you will also learn the truth about his watch...

I really had to laugh about Aoi's voice, its really high hahaha
Nanaka and the other girls are really sweet, glad it worked out at the end ^^

So yes, you should really watch this anime, i loved it! and it indeed made me cry =')

I think this was a fantastic anime. It started off a bit dull, almost mislead me into thinking that it was going to be tiresome and repetitive and similar to other animes of the romance genre I've seen before, but luckily, I didn't stop watching it! After a few episodes, things began changing and the character began having more substance and having more personality. And the storyline wasn't even close to what I expected. It was wonderful. With twists and turns. Ups and downs. And most of my questions were answered by the end of the anime. The music wasn't exactly a key part in the anime. It was more subtle. It changed with the intensity of the scenes and helped translate the emotions the characters were feeling. And I did feel it at times. The characters are nothing like Mary Sues. They all had secrets and problems of their own. They all had dark sides. I was happy that it was more realistic in the sense that they weren't perfect at all. The animation was great. I loved how they would zoom into their eyes and we can see their frustration, or their sadness, or their despair. Wonderful. Overall, I think it was a truly amazing anime, and I would recommend it to anyone. (:
