  • Another romance out of amnesia, but stark details made it real
Okay, I seem to be a pushover for slowly building romances that blossom out of amnesia. I especially liked this one because it dealt with some starkly raw backstories:
which made it feel more real, so the romance felt more real.

  • A Decent School Life Romance Drama
PROS: Good comedy, pretty art style, interesting stories that tie together, good OP/ED (opening/ending song).

CONS: Too much focus on unimportant characters or situations, turns unnecessarily dark, feels rushed and unfinished toward the end.

Overall, this anime is a decent school life romance drama. It started out good but began slipping about halfway through. Despite that, ...

  • Kinda weird. Not exactly thrilling. Mediocre.
Honestly, I did not like this anime. It's ending was descent, but the trip to get there was way too slow. The characters were not thrilling in the least, and they basically came across as annoying. The story tried way too hard to be more than it was, and that was just too much for me to sit here and say it was any better than a 2 star anime. Maybe it will resonate with someone else better than it ...

  • Average High School Drama
I was only able to get three episodes into this anime. The plot so far has been:

Friends: "Let's get out childhood gang together."
Serious Girl: "He didn't recognize me after 5 years; I am going to be a total B to him." Friends: "Lets hook up the protagonist and the serious childhood friend so that we can get our gang back together."
Protagonist: "I have changed in 5 years; no one knows my ...

  • Misery was company...
Years after parting ways with his childhood friends the main protagonist returns to his home town. This is were the story commences.
As the friends are reunited it becomes apparent that time changes people. When they start getting closer again, slowly a traumatic past is revealed.

It's a heart wrenching story and it's likely to make you cry.
If you can relate to the traumatic experiences ...

  • The cover art betrays nothing
I got into anime this past year strictly watching on Crunchyroll. I decided to branch out from the gundams and 'sucked into a videogame' plot and my god, this is far from it. I looked at the cover art and thought, "just another love story", but Myself; Yourself was unique to me. I've never seen an anime storyline run from: beautiful day driving my fast car on the highway, to: crashing ...

  • Well-written, a little dark, and very human!
This title I picked at random, not knowing what to expect, but I can happily say that I was not disappointed! The story was really enjoyable, even at the times when it got a bit dark or taboo. All of the story lines tied up nicely by the end; the only thing I felt this anime needed was a few more episodes to focus on the main characters a little more before the last episode. Give it a watch ...

  • My absolute favorite anime.
This anime is my absolute favorite and for a good reason. I even recommend this one to people that don't normally watch anime. The characters are all well developed and the story is realistic. The show hits close to home and the music is even good. Please watch and see for yourself!

  • An Outstanding Full Circle
You want a great romance with an actual conclusion that is still short? This is the one. A perfect little nugget that if you endure the first few episodes you are treated with a crazy 180 that will leave you wondering how in the world is all of this suppose to wrap up so quick!? The satisfying (yet probably predicable if you're a seasoned anime watcher) will grip you and I'll be damned if I don't ...
