I should Warn you...

This review is coming from someone who imported all the volume of the Manga in the original Japanese.

I love the manga and have been following it since the Fan translations first appeared.

When I heard that the anime was going to be made I had High Hopes for it but low expectations since I figured who ever did it would not stay true to the themes and over do everything. I was wrong. They are ...

I love the manga and have been following it since the Fan translations first appeared.

When I heard that the anime was going to be made I had High Hopes for it but low expectations since I figured who ever did it would not stay true to the themes and over do everything. I was wrong. They are staying true the story and themes and are treating it with the respect it deserves plus they are doing a great job with the dream sequences something I wish the Manga would return to.

I think what makes it so great is the animation, the old and new style mixed together is a very refreshing take and the voice acting is superb,

Music is good but my taste in music has almost never fallen into the normal anime/j-pop style, I find it unoffensive and thats all I ask for music.

I should state that I would never show this to a kid since a lot of the themes are rather adult, from the body fluids and the light sub/dom themes.

For the last comment on this I'm hoping they do the Raw Bacon Chapters.

Where to begin... Mysterious Girlfriend X is simply an endearing story of your first true love. It has everything, humor, awesome characters and badassery lol the one thing that I see that could turn people off would be the whole drool, saliva ritual that happens throughout the show. But dont let that keep you from enjoying this, sure it may seem gross at first but then it becomes oddly normal! ...

Where to begin... Mysterious Girlfriend X is simply an endearing story of your first true love. It has everything, humor, awesome characters and badassery lol the one thing that I see that could turn people off would be the whole drool, saliva ritual that happens throughout the show. But dont let that keep you from enjoying this, sure it may seem gross at first but then it becomes oddly normal! This is the first anime that Ive seen that involves love and stuff like that and its got me hooked. If you can get the past the drool portion, you'll be aboard on an amazing ride.

Over the time of reviewing this anime, i have to say it was deferentially interesting. Cute girls and scary at the same time. I wish it was not so short and would go on with the story line, i feel there could be more but yet they held back...Why? i want to see more...

Such an interesting story.

It's good, too good thats what i hate about it, all the really good animes are far too short imo, (13 eps i could finish in a day if i wanted too) watched 6 episodes yesterday finished today, one of the most interesting storied i've seen, and very strange but thats another good thing, it's so unique but sadly i REALLY think it ended too quick, ( this happens often with animes i watch =p) animes ...

Odd but endearing show

The primary premise of saliva being used to share a bond is a little weird and at times was still a little hard to swallow (heh). But I think that had more to do with how the saliva was animated. It was thick like honey.

The bond is interesting. Despite all the weirdness that surrounds their bond you really root for things to work between them and for their relationship to grow.

I kept expecting Urabe to end up not being human or something, but it seems it's just a quirky thing of that Universe. Also, I can't be the only one to be wondering how intense their first kiss will be given the natural exchange of body fluids going on there, not to mention other things further down the line. ;)

I really hope they continue this story with a 2nd or more seasons.

Un anime que nos relata como dos polos opuestos se atraen. Mikoto Urabe es una chica rara, reservada, misteriosa, sexy, y llena de sentimientos.
Por otro lado tenemos a Akira Tsubaki, un chico social, tímido en algunas situaciones, sin suerte en el amor, y un tanto torpe.

Todo comienza cuando Urabe llega a una nueva escuela y se convierte de manera inminente en la rara del salón, cosa que no ...

Un anime que nos relata como dos polos opuestos se atraen. Mikoto Urabe es una chica rara, reservada, misteriosa, sexy, y llena de sentimientos.
Por otro lado tenemos a Akira Tsubaki, un chico social, tímido en algunas situaciones, sin suerte en el amor, y un tanto torpe.

Todo comienza cuando Urabe llega a una nueva escuela y se convierte de manera inminente en la rara del salón, cosa que no parece importarle a Tsubaki, pues siente una atracción casi inmediata hacia su nueva compañera. ¿Habrá sido un error fijarse en la rara del salón? solo el tiempo lo dirá.

Un anime "cachondo", que nos muestra los sentimientos de los protagonistas de una manera inusual y nos muestra como dos personas sumamente opuestas pueden llegar a tener una relación caótica, divertida, y misteriosa.

Recomiendo que la vean, pues las situaciones en la que vemos a los protagonistas (te estoy viendo, Tsubaki.) son sumamente divertidas.

Mi Chica Misteriosa es un grandioso anime, la protagonista de este anime dejara enamorado a muchos es épica y su forma de ser es única, el chico es normal solo que se consiguió a una chica extraordinaria, deben ver este anime.

This Anime was a bit weird (in a good way) and surprised me when I stared watching it, but I still really loved it! It was a sweet love comedy and I've watched it twice now. It was a nice refresher from all the harem Animes where the guy is a complete idiot but all the girls want him anyway and fight over him the whole show. (Yeah likes that ever happens). It was a nice refresher from all the harem Animes where the guy is a complete idiot but all the girls want him anyway and fight over him the whole show. (Yeah likes that ever happens). The Girlfriend, Urabe's character is very unique and even I wanted to get to know her better. The fact that Tsubaki and Urabe's love connection is through drool and not kissing and physical contact is definitely something new. It's a tad creepy but not too much to be nasty. In the end it's rather sweet and they are a good couple together. This has to be one of the Animes with the most original idea that I've watched so far. I definitely recommend it for those who like love comedies!

Esta es una comedia romántica entre estudiantes de secundaria que pasaría desapercibida de no ser por el vínculo que une a los protagonistas: la saliva. En un arranque fetichista, Akira prueba el rastro de saliva que ha dejado una chica poco comunicativa de su clase, Urabe, mientras dormía recostada de su escritorio. Entonces el chico descubre que puede "leer" los sentimientos de Urabe a través ...

Esta es una comedia romántica entre estudiantes de secundaria que pasaría desapercibida de no ser por el vínculo que une a los protagonistas: la saliva. En un arranque fetichista, Akira prueba el rastro de saliva que ha dejado una chica poco comunicativa de su clase, Urabe, mientras dormía recostada de su escritorio. Entonces el chico descubre que puede "leer" los sentimientos de Urabe a través de su saliva.

A partir de ese momento comienza la relación entre ambos personajes. Aparte de compartir su saliva (colocándola primero en su dedo antes de darla a probar a Akira), Urabe tiene una extraña habilidad al poder hacer cortes a increíble velocidad con unas tijeras que lleva siempre bajo la falda. Estos elementos hacen entretenida la serie, si bien la trama corre a través de una relación de amor inocente que va creciendo de poco a poco.

Ya que el manga aún no finaliza, la serie animada crea un final que bien puede dar paso a una nueva temporada. De forma que aunque merece la pena ser vista, dejará al espectador desencantado con el hecho de no saber a dónde llega la trama principal (o las sub-tramas que corren en paralelo).

Superbly Weird! For Fetish Fans and Non alike!

Well I shall admit, the drool fetish of this series is unique, but it does have its perks. The Animation is good, the characters are excellent, although weird, and the music is quite fitting. The voices of the characters are done superbly. I wont say more, as this is a Review and not a summary of the story in my words! So I recommend watching this if you have an open mind!!!
