    I should Warn you...
This review is coming from someone who imported all the volume of the Manga in the original Japanese.

I love the manga and have been following it since the Fan translations first appeared.

When I heard that the anime was going to be made I had High Hopes for it but low expectations since I figured who ever did it would not stay true to the themes and over do everything. I was wrong. They are ...

  • Strange.. However beautiful
First off the anime seemed a little strange, however I couldn't withdraw my eyes from the oddness of this series.. Episode after episode the weirdness seemed more normal, as the anime grew closer to its final episodes, it also grew a place in my heart. If you give this anime a chance you will not be disappointed.

Note: This is coming from someone who has not seen or read the Manga.

    Visual ...

Strange but good. Nice spin on a stereotype
At first you think it is just one of the main stereotypes of anime with the average high school boy and the strange new girl love story until a new and fresh approach of the "mystic bond" comes to bare. It was funny at times and serious with some of the norms that come with your typical high school romance anime. I would recommend this only to those of 14 and up. Another thing, I think the ...

    Seriously, WHERE'S THE MOAR!?
I had read the Manga before knowing that an Anime adaptation was out. Boy was I excited since I INSTANTLY fell in love with the story that I couldn't put it down!
The anime keeps true to what the manga was all about; Mystery.
No added elements, no added subplots, just straight forward. Urabe is weird, Akira is weird. Their characters (and voice actors) portray equally and never cease to amaze ...

    My new favorite skill
I was a little iffy at first but eventually i couldn't stop watching. the story has the perfect amount of drama and comedy as well as making you simultaneously feel sorry for and love the main characters. This has also shown me what i believe is my new favorite skill. Panty Scissors.

    Speaks to the Viewer
One of the draws of good stories is that it makes a connection to the viewer. The relationship between Urabe and Tsubaki explores many of the quirks and potential pitfalls that young lovers can find themselves in. The spit swapping is a great poke at what making out basically is. Some very minor elements of fantasy keep the story even more interesting and mystifying. I believe the message to be ...

Light and fun; sweet and squicky ^_^
My wife and I went into this series knowing almost nothing about it. I knew the premise, but not to which the lengths with which it went. By the end of the first episode, we were both hooked, and quickly watched through to the end, cringing once or twice, but for the most part, we simply smiled and laughed with Urabe and Tsubaki.

They are wonderful leads, and more than anything, I love how ...

    Unique story but....
After the first few episodes i had high hopes for this. It appealed to my abnormal side, I suppose, and I loved the dream sequences. But, as it went on it just became repetitive with the character development going almost nowhere. It does develop some, it just felt so slow. I imagine I felt the same as Akira with the lack of progression in their relationship. I understand that it would probably ...

I was surprised by how much I loved this anime.
I wasnt expecting much. Was browsing through the selection and picked this one @ random. Ended up watching the whole season and looking forward to the next. It is your typical (or is it?) high school boy meets girl. Characters are memorable as well.

P.S: I see also there is a Mange of the same. I might read that as well.

A great addition to the manga
Like the manga, the animation series focuses on the half-duplex kissing relationship between two high-school classmates; the mysterious Urabe and the rather direct Tsubaki. Through this strange interaction, the inexperienced lovebirds learn, bit by bit, about what it means to have a relationship. They both share the same goal, but are really taking their time getting there.

    I've been reading ...
