A great addition to the manga
Like the manga, the animation series focuses on the half-duplex kissing relationship between two high-school classmates; the mysterious Urabe and the rather direct Tsubaki. Through this strange interaction, the inexperienced lovebirds learn, bit by bit, about what it means to have a relationship. They both share the same goal, but are really taking their time getting there.

    I've been reading ...

    Spectacularly Odd Couple
I quite literally love this serious but I must warn anyone interested in it to go ahead and just read the Manga instead of the Anime, you'll enjoy it more in my own opinion.

The major reasons to why I like this series and will hopefully finish it one day (Why has it been months since the last chapter c.c) is because even through the rather odd bond our main character Akira Tsubaki and Mikoto ...

    It feels pretty empty honestly
Keep in mind i'm writing this as someone that isn't waiting for a second season, noone was announced from what i know, some episodes felt like fillers and pretty much the entire concept of the saliva and some mysterious things that i won't spoil never got clarified or explained, as a Westerner i must say it is super weird to me the fact that they suck each other's saliva but won't kiss and feel ...

    freakin' weird, yet surprisingly enjoyable
Mysterious Girlfriend X is weird, there is no way around that. One of those "WTF Japan?!" kind of reactions... However, if you can get past the incredibly odd and somewhat gross premise, there are countless good things to be found in this show. This show does not sell out to the usual boring cliches that ruin so many promising romance animes out there. The anime is a love story that is ...

A romance that's both more bizarre, and more real, than the usual anime
Is she really as mature and self-aware as she seems? Or is she just crazy? Does she have magical powers? Or does she just understand reality in a deeper way than anyone else? Is she safe? dangerous? both? Should you devote yourself to her forever? Or escape while you still can? And what's up with the scissors?

I loved fighting with all these questions while I was sucked deeper and deeper into ...

    Addicted....Sooo Mysterious
This was the first anime I watched on crunchyroll... The title says it all is really mysterious as it will keep you wanting more to watch the next episode.
After watching the anime I want it more so I went to the manga to catch up and go further. I really recommend it to the newbies at crunchyroll and to the anime world.

    A Weird Romantic Encounter
A slightly weird twist on the standard school boy girl romantic affair. The standard dull and slow, 'normal', male archetype lead Akira Tsubaki one day tastes the drool of a new and unusual transfer student Mikoto Urabe and something strange occurs. He becomes addicted to it. The reason for this is peculiarity is never mentioned and our dull male never thinks to ask why it is while our reclusive ...

    Very Touching and Great! 5/5
At first you may be a little weirded out by the whole drool thing but it really isn't that bad when you think about it, when people kiss their exchanging saliva! Anyways, this anime was very touching and romantic, alot of funny moments, sad moments and weird ones too, I really hope a Season 2 is released one day, I really enjoyed this anime very much and suggest you give it a try, you won't regret ...

Big surprise - excellent story and beautifully animated.
The story is about a high school guy named Akira who meets a new girl Mikoto at school who has no interest in anyone. He notices that she sleeps at her desk over lunch and ends up tasting the drool she leaves behind. (Yeah, this is kind of hard to take). Once this happens, he is somehow mysteriously tuned in to her feelings. This show is a bit different, but I really did enjoy it.

    This anime ...

    Drool is in your future
Urabe has to be the most complex and different type of heroine I have ever seen. The boys experiences are great to watch. Nothing comes out the way you think it will, it's a fairly surprising show with some fairly crazy twists. It's not for everyone, but with a viewing it really grows on you. I think the character development is very atypical, due to the nature of how their feelings are being ...
