    I found myself, mysteriously addicted!
I watched this thinking it was something else, but wow! If the first episode wasn't a shock I don't know what is... And yet it doesn't contain the slightest bit of nudity and very little fanservice... Still I kept watching because it looked so interesting, in fact it's so good that I totally forgot that drool cannot, in fact, transmit images lol... (or any other bodily fluid for that matter) ...

    well done so far ...
This series has a little bit of everything from what the heck to very cool and doing it without any "big time" drama, high action or obligatory violence. It's just a well written series that has the right animation for the story, and is thoughtfully translated (don't really know if translation is accurate) ... and it gets better and better by the episode. The drool thing is "ewwww" in the first ...

A confusing romance tale involving intrigue, drool, and a little bit of boredom.
    A Full Review:

Mysterious Girlfriend X sure is a mysterious show indeed. The show's strange plot devices and relationships makes for a weird yet somewhat fulfilling enough adventure.

Urabe is a very strange girl. Using the plot device of drool, she and Tsubaki have a rocky yet involved relationship. Yea, I said that right... drool. Apparently drool between anyone and Urabe causes that ...

    Mysterious Girlfriend X
After reading the Manga a few years ago. I was very happy that Mysterious Girlfriend X was becoming a anime series. So I wanted to see for myself. If this anime was going to stay true to the Manga. I only watched a few episodes thus far. So far I love it .

I have only watched a few episodes (4) but so far I really enjoy the show and will continue watching. At first it was odd.. hell the whole thing is odd and very confusing... But i suppose that's what makes Mysterious Girlfriend X so damn addicting! Its different than any other anime I have ever watched, its very refreshing!! X3

Although I’m starting to get used to the drool…. but the whole “hair” thing was a little weird and super funny… I went up to my wife and did the hair thing, and i got slapped from here till’ sunday!

Funny Twists Will Pull You In
Highly recommended. Ueshiba Riichi's quirky school romance-comedy manga gets a lively, faithful treatment from director Ayumu Watanabe and Hoods Entertainment -- retaining the intriguing stories and real chemistry between protagonists Tsubaki and Urabe that illuminate the manga. Coupled with strong production values, this is a sure bet for innocent bystanders and Riichi fans alike.
