Naruto Shippuden

In my honest opinion the first 200 or so episodes where the best of almost any anime. The action was crazy and you where always waiting for another epic fight to happen. Most of the characters are swagged out and this anime wasn't missing anything except for a good romance to intervene. Overall a great anime, but then there's down side. After about episode 300 its the attack of the mini-episodes AKA pointless wastes of a good series. Other then that this anime is definitely up there.

This review is aimed to be fair and subjective. I try to provide the facts for new and old to this anime

NARUTO Shippuden follows the 'NARUTO' series with a large fan base this anime series is a good adaption of the 'NARUTO' manga though it has its up and downs.

NARUTO Shippuden is a continuation of the original series of 'NARUTO' following the main protagonist Naruto Uzumaki and his quests to save his friend Sasuke Uchiha while also facing increasing danger from the mysterious organisation of the Akatsuki.

Review

Plot/ Adaptation

'NARUTO Shippuden' plot line follows the Manga of 'NARUTO' and mesh a chapter which is about 20 to 30 pages into a 24 minute episode. The translation between Manga and Anime is mostly positive. Obviously you cannot bring every aspect of the manga over to the anime but elements can be omitted in the anime which can have some relevance. The backbone of the adaptation is there.

Plot, tricky. It follows a manga series from Japan but when they want to let the manga further progress or want to introduce new 'arc(s)' into the series. They produce episodes called 'fillers.' This is a problem as these fillers are like a light switch. We follow manga for Season 8 and then Season 9 we have an arc that is completely unrelated to the manga. This aspect would turn people off this anime. It has the feeling of 'over dragging' a story out to long which leaves viewers bored. I did feel this was a bad decision by the animators. They need to consider the viewers and the people that do follow the manga, BUT when they do follow the manga series the show is very good in presenting a high quality adaptation showing the emotions from page to page on screen.

Music

'NARUTO' series have created soundtracks that were excellent in invoking emotions and 'NARUTO Shippuden' does not miss a beat with the music selection. Yasuharu Takanashi creating a perfect soundtrack for 'NARUTO Shippuden' and viewers will appreciate the amount of effort put in by this composer.

Animation

'NARUTO Shippuden' follows the some animation style of the original 'NARUTO' series which is perfectly fine. 'NARUTO Shippuden' still provides the wide landscapes and well-drawn characters. Animation with fighting scenes is excellent showing the style of each character effectively. I do notice 'odd' elements in some animation scenes that do seem out of place. Overall animation is good.

Characters

'NARUTO Shippuden' develops the lead characters in depth. You can feel and understand the pain of Naruto Uzumaki of what he has faced. This is achieved with a magnitude of other characters which help support the viewer understand everyone on a knowledgeable and emotional perspective. Though, some characters I feel they are either undeveloped or do not appear enough to help get a better understanding of them. It makes viewers feel alienated from these characters and that is not what they should be doing.

Overall

'NARUTO Shippuden' it has the potential reach new heights but the animators and creators need to think about how they portray plot lines and characters. 'NARUTO Shippuden' is a highly enjoyable series for 'die hard' Naruto fans and all new anime comers. I do recommend this series to anyone but be prepared to face 'fillers' and other 'holes'

I personally think that this is one of the best animes serious out there. Naruto (original series) was a terrific show and the action scenes were awesome, but the follow up to it (Shippuden) was far better. I love how the characters all have very separate attitudes about themselves. For example Neji thinks he's like the top notch fighter and then gets defeated in the chunin exams and then he realized that there are other great fighters within his village. That's a realistic situation because being arrogant is not what life is about. Then Shippuden comes along and flips things around a little with then concept of protecting what really matters which is your loved ones. One thing that I would have to say I really dislike is that in the show they never really show the full potential of a lot for characters. Overall I hope they still have more to come after the 4th Great Ninja War, I'm a huge fan of of the series, I've been watching and reading since the first episode and manga and will follow till it ends then rewatch lol. Naruto is awesome as hell and I love it 99% of the time.

naruto shippuden is a squel to naruto,is a kid but in shippuden is a man at least sort of later in the eps he relise that he himself needs to growup in order to protect those dear to him but it allmost seems like a never ending anime as it seems to never end i really cant put a review up because it is not over yet but i can tell you one thing it will not end i dont know if the creators are a little gay but it seems naruto has a crush on sakue (Note to self better grammer ) so all is good for little ga i mean hero naruto of the hidden leaf village untill a group of members called the akatskui want what naruto has (forgot to mention he has a nine tailed beast inside him and cant controll him) but naruto wants to keep it so that way he dosent die (forgot to mention the akatskui uses a jutsu to keep the nine tails in the prosess he dies) oh and an elit shinobi called madar wants it to but to distroy the ninja way will naruto stop madaru from distroying the hidden leaf village find out on the next eps on dragon ball uhmhm i mean naruto shippuden

Naruto: Shippuden picks up right where we left off two years ago, and the entrance of the mysterious Akatsuki certainly adds a new dimension to the show and the characters. Naruto isn't the same old goof we once knew and loved (he still has some of his comedic moments, though) and has achieved a more serious, mature outlook on combating adversity. We also see the rapid growth of many characters such as Sasuke (who has grown immensely powerful over the past two years), Gaara (he's the Kazekage, now), and most of the Konoha 11, who've all trained hard and achieved ranks of Chuunin or higher.

Naruto Shippuden maintains some of the comedy we saw in the first series, whilst adding in some seriousness that is sorely needed for a plot this complex and deep. The developers have done a great job continuing the story, and we're excited for new episodes every week.

All in all, Naruto Shippuden won't fail to disappoint.
