great but has its downfalls

ok so anyone who loves or watches anime knows at least of the regular naruto series, but this is when naruto get done with his 3 years of training with jiraiya. this is of course really good series and has alot of action and comedy and is really great but its one major downfall is how many fillers this series has. unlike hunter x hunter where the fillers are fun and are bearable to watch, the ...

ok so anyone who loves or watches anime knows at least of the regular naruto series, but this is when naruto get done with his 3 years of training with jiraiya. this is of course really good series and has alot of action and comedy and is really great but its one major downfall is how many fillers this series has. unlike hunter x hunter where the fillers are fun and are bearable to watch, the amount of fillers is crazy and most of them are unbearable to watch. like you get done with one arc and then u gotta wait 15 fillers til the next arc starts. but honestly that is this anime's only downfall. still a great show and definitely worth picking up

First anime; still my favorite

I have been watching Naruto for a couple years now. It was my first anime, as it was for many others, and it still is able to surprise me and give me very exciting fighting scenes. The plot changes at a good pace, not too drastically, but also doesn't drag it out for too long. As for the fillers, did it ever occur to you people that you don't have to watch them?? If you skip the fillers you won't ...

I have been watching Naruto for a couple years now. It was my first anime, as it was for many others, and it still is able to surprise me and give me very exciting fighting scenes. The plot changes at a good pace, not too drastically, but also doesn't drag it out for too long. As for the fillers, did it ever occur to you people that you don't have to watch them?? If you skip the fillers you won't miss anything important to the main storyline, so stop complaining about them. They're just following the manga anyways. I know that fillers means waiting a week for the next episode to come out only to be disappointed by a pointless side-story or flashback, but if you honestly have so much trouble waiting for a simple show to air then you need to rethink your priorities. This show has never dulled on me, and I'm definitely watching it to the end.

I would like to say that this show is one of the best - at least for me - because I see everything in this show has a deep meaning, and some of these meanings, people should take to heart and learn from them. Naruto is AH-MAZING! Must see!

I am simply in love with this anime! Naruto's dreams and determination are so touching! In the beginning of the first series, I didnt think that it would be great, but then I got completely attached to Naruto's story! I watched like 10 to 15 episodes a day, and now that I am caught up, I am just like.......... saddddddddddddd.............. When this anime ends, I am going to cry so hard that I ...

The Best Anime Ever!

I love Naruto, and have grown up with him since I watched it years ago. He taught me many things, but two are the most important: "You are not alone. This anime is about adventure, determination, dreams, life and death, romance, and ninjas, of course. However, it is about how strong bonds can be, and the importance of friendship. The major themes in the anime are universal, but different than other animes, it has an unique way of establishing the conflict and developing its story line in a magnificent way, to put it simply.

It Started Off So Well.....What Happened?

The original Naruto was a favourite series of mine, and once you got into Shippuden it just went downhill. Most of the characters aren't realistic and the plot keeps repeating its self. They have way to many fillers, and not enough strong female character. And don't say, "Oh what about Tsunade?!" Well her ability to appear as a strong female character felt as soon as you see the size of her chest. ...

The original Naruto was a favourite series of mine, and once you got into Shippuden it just went downhill. Most of the characters aren't realistic and the plot keeps repeating its self. They have way to many fillers, and not enough strong female character. And don't say, "Oh what about Tsunade?!" Well her ability to appear as a strong female character felt as soon as you see the size of her chest. She's also kinda useless. She had to be saved by a 12 year old boy when you first meet her. It took Sakura over 200 episodes to become decently respectable, and yet she's still pretty useless. Ino can't do anything by herself and Hinata wasn't able to talk till recently.
The art isn't amazing but it's not terrible ether.

Sound 3/5 (I loved the old sound track)

I'm really hoping this series will pickup because it had such a strong start with the original Naruto, but it seems to have lost it's way. The world in Naruto is amazingly developed and it's easy to imagine yourself there. This is a great starting anime, but there are a lot of better ones out there. (i.e. Blue Exorcist, Btooom!, Code Geass, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, etc)

i have watched this anime since the original naruto and it just gets better and better the deeper you go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! the story has so many different twists and you always learn more and more about all the characters

Naruto at it's core is a great show. There are so many characters that you're bound to find one that you'll like and there's so many episode that everyone gets their moment to shine. However, it's greatest strength is its greatest flaw. There are way too many episodes and over half of them are filler if you count the first Naruto series. Yes, over half. And now, they're starting to flood the new episodes with countless flashbacks. So now what should be a nice 24 minutes of what should be action packed ninja endeavors, is reduced 15 minutes of action and 9 minutes of content we've already seen before.

Naruto is one of the shows you should tune in and tune out of once in a while. DO NOT watch every episode because that amount of time will seriously affect your health and/or outdoor life. I'm serious. Don't.

Every knows about it, who HASN'T watched it!?

Of the big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) I've gotta say that Naruto is the best, I used to think it was one piece but Naruto Shippuden has really proven itself, the enemies and the characters are great.

Of the big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) I've gotta say that Naruto is the best, I used to think it was one piece but Naruto Shippuden has really proven itself, the enemies and the characters are great.

Naruto may seem like your average shounen main character, but he really proves him apart form the rest. The other characters are great as well, with his team and fellow konoha friends, there is sakura who is great, and kakashi who just plain owns, and for the ones who like the darker characters, narutos former teammate sasuke.

The enemies are great to Tobi (I won't spoil who he is) is an awesome villain, and with the tension between the war and the eventual naruto and sauske clash (its bound to happen soon) there is a lot of excitement, the plot has really started to flesh out as well.

If you love adventure I strongly suggest Naruto Shippuden!
