I don't think they're lame. Sakura wasn't that awesome because while she could perform the basic jutsu she had no bloodline(Sasuke) or immense chakra(Naruto), but eventually she does become a force to be reckoned with thanks to events.

i think a lot of people judge certain characters way too quickly, or they just are stubborn and ignore their good qualities, sakuras great ninja considering she wasnt born with natural power like sasuke, or doesnt have a jinchuriki in them

You do realize that Sakura gets unimaginable power later on in the series where she can literally dismantle the entire ground under her with a fist. She trained under the fifth hokage causing her to become a medical ninja.
