  • Just as amazing as the other seasons
Natsume yuujinchou shi is the 4th season of Natsume Yuujinchou and is spectacular, just like the other seasons. It shows the adventures of Natsume brought to him by his grandmother's book of friends, that has the names of many youkai. It is a simple yet unique creation.

  • Much more than I was expecting!!
I am a person easily bored , when watching anything or readying anything I have to have something else on another tab or keep another book with me. With that being the case I don't go to the movies, very often, and if I do I tend to get bored half way. Because I am how I am I thought that I would watch three episodes at most and then watch something else until I'm bored with that... boy was I ...

  • A Heart-Warming Fantasy
The show has this sense of intrigue to it despite not having a laid-out plotline, instead generally being the "each episode is a story" sort. What I found intriguing was the world the anime built. I wasn't interested in many of the human characters, admittedly, aside from the titular character himself, his exorcist friend, and a sparse few solo episode characters and antagonists. The last few ...

    Enjoyable to pass time...
I really expected to be blown away from this anime, having read all the reviews touting how amazing it is. However, I didn't really feel any sort of "satisfaction" from this - at least more than superficially. I guess to phrase it as succinctly as I can, I would say this is a "thoughtful" anime at the shallow end of the pool, and therefore, it probably can be appreciated by a LOT of people. I do ...

  • The Fourth Season of the Series
This review is specifically tailored to the fourth season of Natsume Yujin-cho. If you want to see my thoughts on the first three seasons, you can find them under my review for Natsume Yujin-cho.
At first I thought it was weird that CR had out the fourth season of the series on its own page, but as I watched it I understood why. The fourth season of the series, though you can tell that it ...

  • Very relaxing and peacefull Anime
I loved this anime. The music was really good and relaxing. And at the same time i was crying like a baby but also smiling. Natsume is such a wonderful person, and they built up the anime very good. It's like i was a child again in my fantasy world where i could see stuff that wasn't there, except Natsume could really see it haha.

  • An Anime For Everyone in the Family
This anime is so wonderfully written - it is not easy to write a story that everyone in your family can enjoy and relate to. There's humor, friendship, the difficulties of growing up and being misunderstood, the hope of better days, etc. In this season you get to know Natsume and oh one episode is so heartbreaking. If you liked the other seasons you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend this anime to anyone who enjoyed watching anime similar to Mushi-shi. Overall it is simple yet profound way of demonstrating the power of friendships and bonds.

  • This Series is Sui Generis
I really appreciate the characters and the storyline. Takashi Natsume's persona is gentle and soothing. Madara (an ayakashi that guards Yakashi) adds humor to the series and is a fitting counterpart for Takashi. It is funny and heart-warming to watch Madara develop an attachment to Takashi throughout the series. The music is good too! I enjoyed the opening so much that I did not skip it as I ...

  • This Surprised to me!
It's one of those anime's, that you weren't expecting to be good, but it turns out to be really amazing! Then you start watching it more and more and get caught up in it and it's emotions that it just catches you and hold you hostage until the end. Now I'm trying to find different and amazed animes that is similar, because it was really good!
