Season 4 is here? Why seperated from other seasons?
As almost same as season 3, scene in which Natsume returns names from Yokai doesn't show up. I think that's fine because the important thing which Natsume Yujincho wants to show is the relationship between humanbeings and Yokai, which are derived from old gods or deities. Not god in christianity or mosrim. The Japanese used to feel deities in their dayly life and thought all things aroud them had ...

Feel-good and fun, but with a deep story
Set in a rich world of myth, a story that shows how the ties of friendship and compassion can overcome adversity. Frankly one of the best anime currently being produced! Themes of friendship and the desire to protect the people we love are classic anime fodder, but Natsume mostly refrains from the fighting genre clash of titans stuff and instead shows how an otherwise normal boy might do ...

Best yokai anime ever. A must watch.
Have been a fan of this anime since the very first episode, the animation is absolutley beautiful and the story and characters are enchanting, it just keeps me coming back for more. I hope that there are many more episodes and seasons to come from this beautlful masterpice. I always do love anime about humans and yokai but this is one of the best.

Amazing and Beautiful. It really touches me and connects with me.
This anime is so amazing on so many levels. All the characters are well developed, and unique. None of the characters will remind you of someone else from a different anime, and nothing really reminds you of other anime, except there being youkai in it and it's an anime. This is a COMPLETELY original piece of art, and you don't see this in most other anime, which copy other ideas and change just a ...

    Heartwarming and Funny
Natsume Yujin-cho Shi (NYCS) is a wonderful conclusion to the NYC anime series which include NYC, Zoku NYC, and NYC-san. Each season stand alone as funny, heartwarming, great animes, but together they're dang near brillant. If you've not started with season 1 episode 1 I suggest you do so. NYC seemingly moves slow causing us to be voyeurs in on the life of a HS student Takashi Natsume. In this ...

    touching and meaningful.
This was the most wonderful, amazing, spectacular anime ever. I cannot even begin to describe how heart warming and adorable Natsume and Nyanko sensei makes of the anime. The storyline overall induces you to keep watching, you won't be able to stop after you've started the series! The music is overall wonderful, but I prefer season's three more (just a personal preference of music I ...

    Excellent Anime for Everyone
Natsume Yujin-cho has to be one of the best shounen animes out there. The artwork is very well done and unique. There are a variety of character designs that you won't find in any other anime. The characters are also well done. They all have their distinct personalities. The different relationships Natsume has with both the youkai and humans are interesting and heart-warming. Natsume is a ...

    Natsume Yujincho: Sublime and affecting
I cannot say better that which has been well-worded and well-said by the previous reviewers; these are testament to all parties involved who've created the story-line and the animation work, all of which has been consistently fresh while continuously engaging. I'd say that when this series finds itself at the actual and final end of its story, we will miss it but as Natsume has respected and ...

Natsume's fourth installment is an awe inspiring overall masterpiece.
I have to start with the final episode: the best episode between the first four series. Period. It delivers a powerful emotional punch to one's soul, and exceptionally explains why Natsume is one of the most unique anime characters out there. Backed up by top class writing, Natsume's fourth installment focuses more on his childhood memories and how much he had to endure before finding a real ...

    AND ALL THE CUTE YOKAI
When I finished Natsume Yujin-cho, I though to myself "Nothing could be better". And then I started Natsume Yujin-cho Shi and realized I was wrong, because Natsume Yujin-cho Shi was amazing, amazing, amazing.
It's so easy to get caught up in the gentle nature of Natsume Yujin-cho. It is adorable, endearing, and heart-breaking all at the same time.
Watching it just feels good. It really is an ...
