Darn it, Noitamina, I LOVE YOU
I have to admit, I have been falling for at least one of Noitamita shows every season for a while now (Mononoke, UN-GO, GC, Moyashimon, No. 6, Tsuritama, Kids on the Slope to name a few), and they did it again. I love Natsuyuki already.

I happened to listen to Noitamina radio that was released online after the Ep. 2 aired in Japan with Yuichi Nakamura (the voice of Hazuki) as the guest, and the ...

    Promising and ghostly romantic
It deals with many of the infinite questions of love: when should I move on; does love ever end; does loving again mean betraying a lost love? A really nice addition to the Crunchyroll menu for the adult viewers.

After watching the whole series I decided to make some editing to my review. Overall, NR is really pretty and romantic in a subtle and almost poetic way. Nevertheless, there are 3 ...

Different, but not up to all the hype
Natsuyuki Rendezvous is definitely a change of pace compared to all the other anime titles featured on Crunchyroll. In comparison, it has a 'mature' story-line with the main character being widowed and courted by a young man while her deceased husband lingers. The characters are not super like-able, and that's what probably annoyed me the most. I didn't particularly root for either of the men to ...

A questionable romance that seems to leave you hanging
While the change from the typical 'High School love story' was refreshing, I can't say that I enjoyed this more than the aforementioned type of anime. Quite possibly because this romance could have just as well played out in a school setting; it might have even given this anime more filling and conflict.

At her best, Rokka was just about on par with the usual heroine archetype and at her worst ...

    Melo, boring, and draggy
I have this thing about quitting an anime, but this is one I wish I could have. The story is very good. The first episode is compelling. However, by episode 3 or 4 it becomes repetitive and the story drags on and on. It made me wonder if it were made only to show off the beautiful animation because the wrtiting was lacking. Unfortunately, there's a lot of wasted potential. 2.5 stars if I could

    Beautiful Series- Five stars
So I've only seen the first several episodes but I love this show. It's about a women who is unknowingly haunted by her dead husband. Hazuki is a younger man who falls in love with her. He, however, can see the ghost husband. The interactions between the men run the gamut between achingly sad or laugh out loud funny. The romance between Rokka and Hazuki is very sweet, while at the same time it is ...

A poignant, refreshing (and adult) love drama
This show was a little slow at times and on the melodramatic side, but it still had an amazing theme and some solid dialogue. The animation was fantastic, and the music definitely set the tone for the feels.

There were a couple of WTF moments that didn't quite make the impressions that I feel they were intended to make. If you have ever loved someone and lost them, or if you like melodrama, ...

    4.7 Stars - A Captivating & Realistic Love Story
    Storyline 4.5/5
The description of this anime was interesting so I couldn't wait to check it out. It didn't disappoint. Unlike most romance anime, this one's more mature, serious, and realistic. Though at times, it seemed boring and slow, the pace is actually perfect and matches the story completely. It has a peaceful, calm tone to it. I wouldn't say I enjoyed watching this because it kept ...

    GREAT STORY! Very Sentimental
I love the story line, of how they helped the heroin's deceased husband move on to where he should be. I am moved by the story and the perseverance of the present lover inspired me as well, as he pursues his love for the heroin. This reminded me a little of the movie "Ghost" minus the present lover.

    Very Thoughtful and Interesting
I must admit, I'm not much of a Josei fan. But this changed it for me. It tackles a very realistic romance problem, and it makes you feel for both male leads. For most of the show I couldn't decide who I thought was the villain, because of how well they show both sides. They also do a good job of showing the passage of time without any awkward time skips. If you are interested in romance, I highly ...
