Nisemonogatari is a unique, masterpiece ride that leaves you begging for more.
Nisemonogatari follows perfectly were Bakemonogatari left off. This show has an outstanding writing, which is not matched by most of the series out there. The creativity and the way the conversations develop are just hands-down masterful, but what really stands out to me is how the psychological aspect of the series is presented to the viewers. The way the characters move, express themselves, and ...

  • Here We Go For A Mysterious Ride
Goodness, this is one wacky ride. Moments of brilliance mixed in with eye-rolling scenes... it doesn't get better or worse than this. We have a lot of returning characters from the first series and some new ones are introduced. Overall, the main returning ones are much better than the new ones (excluding Shinobu, who is the best!). The setting is the same and is still pretty good, the dialogue is ...

    Watch the other season first!
Too many people are complaining in the comments saying that they don't understand. That's because this is the second season, go and watch Bakemonogatari first. Other people are complaining about the amount of fan service in this season. I, for one, thought it was great. Especially the toothbrush scene. That scene will remain in my memory until the day I die. A definite must watch.

  • Amazing art, great story, surprisingly deep
The Monogatari series really surprised me. I wasn't expecting much other than Ecchi coming in, really only giving it a shot for the art. Instead I was surprised with a surprisingly deep male lead who was genuinely a good guy with real character flaws that didn't boil down to "i'm a fucking moron." The "harem" cast is also diverse enough, and lacks any of the usual annoying mainstays we get in the ...

  • Someone had to get burned by the Fire Sisters. Sorry Araragi.
Nisemonogatari is a follow up to the hit anime, Bakemonogatari. Still following Araragi, the show retains the strong hold on viewers its predecessor did. Similar to Bakemonogatari, the series is only eleven episodes, giving it a light feel. Keeping to the theme of the supernatural bleeding over into the human world, the series focuses on two primary support characters in the Fire Sisters, ...

More of the same, and that's awesome.
A continuation (side story?) of Bakemonogatari, Nise-blahblah, focus' on the Araragi, or 'Fire' Sisters, Karen and Tsukihi, rather than the other, more prominent cast of the series. All the quirks and charms of Bake-blehblur are intact, and present. Really, you cant go wrong if you're a fan of the Monogatari series.

5/5, would possibly buy the action figures... but I won't.

  • Good continuation from Bakemonogatari
Only watch this if you have seen Bakemonogatari which is basically the first season.

Nisemonogatari is a nice addition to the series, the two main characters aside from Araragi are his two sisters. The show follows them similar to the girls from Bakemonogatari. All of the cast from bakemonogatari does make an appearance in this show but not much it mainly focuses on Araragi's two sisters. All ...

    Bake Mono Two Point Zero
    [Animation: 9/10]
What should I say about this? Well, the animation was top-notch. Pretty much the same as it was with Bakemonogatari (BMG), but you can feel the vibe of money around each corner. Everything was polished and I could really feel that each and everything must have been cross-checked by serveral animators. The colors where vivid, all lines clear and drawn with detail. There where a ...

  • The sequel to the hit series Bakemonogatari!
SHAFT and Akiyuki Shinbou return to tell more stories of Nisioisin's acclaimed Monogatari series! While I personally didn't find the stories of this arc to be as interesting as Bakemonogatari, not to mention they went a little overboard on fanservice in this season, Nisemonogatari is a solid series that I have no problem recommending to those who enjoyed Bakemonogatari!
